Changing trend of caesarean section rate in Kashmir division

Introduction: Major change in the practice of obstetrics over the past century is a progressive increased frequency of caesarean section deliveries which has been associated with an increased risk of post- operative complications and increased risk of fetal distress which in turn increases maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. Therefore we tried to determine the rate of caesarian section deliveries in Kashmir division. Objectives: To determine the caesarean section Rate in Government Hospitals and Private Hospitals of Kashmir division.

Problems faced by teachers in implementation of mid day meal scheme at primary school level in jammu province

Mid Day Meal Scheme is being implemented in India since August 15, 1995, as a part of the National Programme of Nutritional Support to Primary Education. It was introduced in India with an objective to enhance enrolment, retention and attendance and simultaneously improving nutritional levels among children. Teachers play a key role in the successful implementation of mid day meal scheme at school level. The paper focuses on the problems faced by teachers in the implementation of mid day meal scheme. The study on which this paper is based was conducted in the Jammu Province.

Resilience of smart cities and mock drills as strategic tool

Smart cities concept emphasis on cities to be safe, resilient and sustainable. This has been iterated also under Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Mock drills & exercises are mechanism to find out the existing level of preparedness and resilience of stakeholders in an urban environment. Comparison of the highest strength value of quadriceps and hamstring leg muscle groups and some selected parameters in football players

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the highest value of leg strength and some selected parameters in the soccer players of super amateur league. The experimental group of the research is composed of super amateur level football players who have at least 4 years of sports experience and study at Istanbul Gelişim University, school of Physical Education and Sports (N=90). The sample, which was determined through convenience sampling method, is composed of voluntary participants (n=30).
