Designing the efficient dfig system back-to- back converter to replace lcl with llcl filter

This report gives the proper understanding of conceptual power control by using direct space vector control technique and its power quality improvement conducted with DFIG. A higher order passive power filter (LLCL-filter) for the back to back converter is becoming attractive for industrial applications due to the possibility to reduce the cost of the copper and the magnetic material.

Molecular profile of oral candida albicans isolates from hiv-infected patients and healthy persons

Candida species are part of the normal microbiota of most people, but can also be responsible for infections, acting mainly as opportunistic microorganisms. The typing of Candida isolates is important for hospital epidemiology studies. The aim of this study was to analyze the molecular profile of Candida albicans isolates from the oral cavity of individuals with and without HIV and verify genetic relationships between them using the RAPD-PCR methodology. Two different groups, containing a total of 116 C. albicans isolates, were analyzed.

Analysis of coordination and selectivity between protection devices of low voltage system (440vac)

This study aims to analyze the coordination and selectivity of the protection in a low voltage industrial electrical installation, so that the protection devices isolate and eliminate the fault quickly and selectively. To achieve this objective, a survey of the installed loads was carried out, a conference of fuse values and adjustment of the thermal relays, verification of the gauge of the cables connecting the respective loads and calculations of the short-circuit current through a software.

Low cost wireless data acquisition system for multisensor applications

Automated irrigation systems for agriculture purposes are becoming increasingly important and popular due to the scarcity of water resources and increasing demands of food production. Data acquisition is one of the most important aspects in the automated systems in agriculture sector. This paper presents a low cost wireless system for data acquisition. Sensor nodes and frame format of the sensor data are built using an Atmega328 microcontroller.
