A descriptive study to assess the level of knowledge regarding domestic waste management and disposal among housewives in selected rural areas of Puducherry

Background: Numerous human activities produce huge amounts of domestic waste throughout the world and their management and disposal has become a technical and environmental challenge. Knowledge of current practices and perception of household waste management and disposal is necessary for accurate decision making in the more towards a more sustainable approach. This study investigates the level of knowledge on domestic waste management and disposal among housewives in selected rural areas of Puducherry. Method: This study utilized a quantitative research approach.

Evaluation of women's knowledge of human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and HPV Vaccine

In this study, we aimed to evaluate the knowledge level of women aged 18 to 45 years who applied to our clinic about HPV infection and vaccination. For this purpose, 204 women aged 18 to 45 years who applied to our clinic between 2009 and 2018 were asked to answer questions about HPV and its vaccine. A questionnaire was prepared to determine the knowledge level of the women. The answers were evaluated using the SPSS program. In the study, the mean age of the 204 participants was 27.8 years.

Construção e criação de um protótipo para o atendimento de pacientes em parada cardiorrespiratória

Objetivo: desenvolver e criar um protótipo que auxilie profissionais de saúde no atendimento à parada cardiorrespiratória, seguindo os protocolos da American Heart Association. Método: estudo sobre a construção e desenvolvimento de um protótipo para profissionais de saúde no atendimento às paradas cardiorrespiratórias. Resultados: No processo de construção do protótipo ocorreu a construção estrutural do protótipo e a funcionalidade e interface gráfica do produto.

Assessing the body temperature and spo2 level during covid-19 pandemic among urban and ruler women

The object of this study was to examine the Body temperature and Blood oxygen level (SpO2) between Women in area of Pune District especially in Junnar Tahasil urban and Ruler area. For this research, population form Junnar Nagarpalica area have been selected as population a total of 60 among them 30 urban women and 30 Ruler women age group of 21 to 40 years old.

Objetivo: Revisar de forma integrativaas principais formas de tratamento e diagnóstico de acordo com as bactérias mais encontradas nas infecções da Osteomielite crônica. Métodos: Foram utilizadas as bases de dados BVS-Lilacs, PubMed, SciElo e Cochrane Library através dos descritores “osteomyelitis”, “chronic” e “treatment” entre o período de 2016 a 2021. Resultados e Discussão: 13 artigos foram selecionados, a partir dos critérios de inclusão, reunindo informações acerca da Osteomielite Crônica.

The effect of body weight on peak expiratory flow rate (pefr) among the adolescent rural school children, an observational study

Background: The increasing prevalence of childhood obesity in developing countries is a growing public health concern. Obesity has been linked to pulmonary dysfunction, including reduced peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR). This study aimed to investigate the effect of body weight on PEFR among rural adolescent school children. Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted in schools located in and around Nagamangala Taluk, with a study duration of 18 months. The sample size was determined using a formula based on the prevalence of obesity in school-going children.

Vision miracles for daily living enhancement

The burden of low vision is rapidly increasing globally, and cally, in the developing world. The study aims to more speci nal assess various commonly used low visual aids and the outcome in patients. 36 patients with low vision were examined, investigated and treated by the author in the period between Dec 2018 to April 2019, using a variety of new instruments and rehabilitation techniques.

The aim of this research was to measure the contribution of the social safety net project to the improvement of household living conditions and the development of early childhood in the province of Zondoma from 2015 to 2019. The methodological approach used is is based on field surveys with a dynamic and interactive approach that involved beneficiaries, resource persons and project managers.
