The present study involves in the formulation and evaluation of Controlled release tablets of Betahistine HCl (16mg). The objective ofthe present study was to formulate Betahistine HCl Controlled release tablets by direct compression method by using HPMC K4M, Ethyl cellulose and Eudragit S-100.MCC was used as diluting agent, Magnesium Stearate was usedas a lubricant and Talc was used as a glident. This Controlled release the drug up to 12 hours in predeterminedrate. The formulated powder blend was evaluated for bulk density, tapped density, compressibility index and angle of repose.

The objective of the study to formulate and evaluate ofpulsatile drug delivery containing Zafirlukastfor the treatment of asthama which is used to deliver the drug atspecific time as per pathophysiological need of the disease and improvementof therapeutic efficacy and patient compliance.

Introdução: O abscesso peritonsilar consiste em uma infecção localizada, caracterizada pelo acúmulo de secreção purulenta entre a cápsula amigdaliana e o músculo constritor da faringe. Objetivo: O intuito do estudo é analisar os aspectos principais do abscesso peritonsilar e seus fatores de risco. Metodologia: Essa pesquisa trata-se de uma revisão da literatura narrativa, qualitativa, cujos artigos científicos foram buscados nas bases de dados: Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Literatura Latino-americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e PubMed.

A Descriptive research design study was conducted among 20 menopausal women residing in Sakthi Nagar, Namakkal to assess the level of incidence of Hot flushes among Menopausal women by using MRS (Menopause Rating Scale). The demographic variables of the findings revealed that the Highest percentage (60%) of women were in the age group of 57- 60 years, 30 % them had Secondary education, 30 % & 30 % of them were moderate and heavy workers. 45% of the menopausal women attained menarche at the age of 14 years. 65% of the menopausal women were Hindus.

This work focused on the development of the Newreader application, which consists of software that makes use of machine learning techniques for the benefit of people with visual impairments or people with low vision. In this way, Newreader presents itself as a powerful tool to assist the decision making of these people, facilitating access to information by reading aloud texts present in any element around them through the camera of the mobile device.

Metamorphosis comprise dramatic transformation in shape and function of organs, tissues and individual cells. According to the classical theory of the hormonal control of insect metamorphosis, ecdysteroids initiates a molt independent on the titer of JH. However a few observations earlier indicate that tissues must first acquire competence in the presence of JH acid alone is not sufficient for the metamorphic response to ecdysteroid.

Desta forma, objetivou-se avaliar os impactos ambientais causados pela agricultura familiar via desflorestamento e uso do fogo na implantação de sistemas de cultivos. O estudo foi realizado na comunidade Castanhandeua, no Município de Moju, Pará. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com sete agricultores atendidos por um projeto de extensão do curso de agronomia do Instituto Federal do Pará, Campus Castanhal.
