Introdução: A violência obstétrica pode ser definida como qualquer ato ou intervenção direcionada à parturiente ou diretamente ao seu bebê, onde são realizados procedimentos sem o consentimento explícito e informado da mulher e/ou desrespeito à sua autonomia. Objetivo: Descrever os fatores associados a violência obstétrica. Materiais e Métodos: Essa pesquisa é uma revisão bibliográfica do tipo integrative, base: Google Acadêmico e Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO).

Introduction: Photographic records are of utmost importance in the field of “facial esthetics”. The lack of a photographic standardization hinders the quality of imaging records and renders the validation of procedures and products impossible. Moreover, no simple device, much like that used in cephalometric radiography, has been established to resize the photographic image in such a way as to enable and develop facial-esthetic cephalometric traces in fontal and lateral incidences.

This study aimed to improve the nutritional value and digestibility of Sorghum Husk (SH) using urea and chicken manure treatments. SH was exposed to chemical (5% urea), (5 % urea and 10 % molasses) and biological (chicken manure 10 %) treatments.

Chagas disease is a pathology caused by the protozoan Trypanosoma cruzi. It is known that such infection is capable of causing damage to the gap junctions, but its engines are not completely described. Therefore, the objective of the work is to review the literature as interactions of the protozoan Trypanossoma crossed in some cell lines, such as: cardiomyocytes, macrophages and adipocytes, with a focus on the changes caused in the class of connexins, especially in the connexin 43, and with the following threats in the intercellular communication of these strains.

In 2020, the outbreak of COVID-19 was declared a public health emergency. In 2021, after the development of vaccines, a next challenge arises, being the immunization of as many individuals as possible. Although the search for vaccine production was carried out in a short period, and the advantages of vaccination programs are known worldwide, there is a reluctance to vaccine. Social media are effects of actions that replicate, disseminate and publish information and arguments about vaccination are no different, and thousands of information and positions on immunizers were discussed.

The objective of this study was to validate the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) for the adult and elderly population in colorectal cancer screening in the Legal Amazon region. The FFQ and two 24-hour recalls were applied, and nutrient intake estimates were compared. For this, the paired t test, Pearson correlation and Bland-Altman regression were used with a significance level of 5%. Significant correlations were accepted, with R values between 0.4 and 0.7 for macronutrients and 0.3 to 0.7 for micronutrients.

A artéria basilar (AB) é formada pela junção das artérias vertebrais esquerda e direita ao nível do sulco bulbo medular. A rotura de um aneurisma nessa artéria pode acarretar ao paciente desde sequelas leves até a morte, sendo o diagnóstico e um tratamento precoce e um ponto-chave para um bom prognóstico. A rotura desses aneurismas leva à hemorragia subaracnóidea, sendo uma causa importante de mortalidade nos serviços de emergência. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal propor a realização de uma revisão bibliográfica acerca da rotura de aneurisma da artéria basilar.

Covid-19 is a disease developed by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The World Health Organization (WHO) became aware of the infection of this virus in humans on December 31, 2019 in the city of Wuhan, People's Republic of China. It quickly spread around the world, which led the WHO to classify COVID-19 as an international health emergency and, later, to declare it a pandemic. The main characteristic of this pathology is an infection of the respiratory system, leading individuals to present dyspnea, reduced cardiorespiratory capacity, fatigue, among other symptoms.

A anemia falciforme é uma doença de origem genética que afeta milhões de pessoas, é caracterizada por uma mutação específica no gene da cadeia beta globina, como consequência disso, é gerada uma hemoglobina instável em estado de hipóxia causando uma alteração na estrutura da hemácia, ou seja, a hemácia em formato de foice. Com isso, o paciente tende a ter alguns sintomas como as crises vaso-oclusivas. Existe vários métodos para determinar o diagnóstico, incluindo a técnica de investigação de hemoglobina por meio da eletroforese.

Posturas e hábitos inadequados adquiridos durante a adolescência podem levar ao desenvolvimento de desvios posturais, principalmente a escoliose. O objetivo foi detectar escoliose por meio de triagem em escolares, pelo teste de Adams. Inquérito epidemiológico com 609 alunos do 5° ao 9º ano, nas escolas públicas municipais de Guaramiranga em 2008. A maioria da população é masculina (52,9%) e têm entre 10 a 12 anos (64,5%). O peso do material escolar foi adequado em 98,7%. O sexo feminino tem maior peso corporal e transporta mais material escolar (p<0,05).
