This article aims to establish a survey of CO2e (t GWP) emissions and carbon sequestration in Brazilian livestock. The study considers CO2, CH4, N2O as GHG, being presented in carbon equivalent (CO2eq) in the metric GWP (global warming potential). Based on data from Greenhouse Gas Emission and Removal Estimating System, an estimate of carbon removals in the soil due to agricultural practices was included in an experimental way.

The objective of the study was to determine the prevalence of dental caries in people with Down Syndrome compared to non-syndromic individuals. This is an observational, analytical cross-sectional study with a sample composed of 42 people, including 21 individuals with Down Syndrome and 21 non-syndromic individuals, both groups with children and teenagers aged between 6 to 17 enrolled in schools of southern Brazil.It was found that approximately half of the participants had no dental caries in both groups.

Autism Spectrum Disorder is one of the disorders that has been most detected in the health area. Due to the challenges inherent to the disorder, the role of parents and school in the development process of these individuals has been debated. Seeking to delimit this scenario, the present study sought to detect the challenges encountered in the area of psychology aimed at parents when dealing with autistic children. Thus, this research aimed to analyze the role of the family in the development of children with autism.

O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a relação da qualidade de sono com o desenvolvimento da síndrome de burnout (SB) em profissionais de enfermagem. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de revisão sistemática da literatura. Foram selecionados 56 artigos que atendiam diretamente os critérios de inclusão, mediante consulta a várias bases de dados científicas. O aparecimento da SB está relacionado a vários fatores, entre eles o estresse relacionado ao local e ao turno de trabalho.

Desde a antiguidade as plantas medicinais são utilizadas como tratamento para várias doenças e na atualidade elas têm sido bastante requisitadas como alternativa aos medicamentos sintéticos. Uma dessas plantas é o gengibre, planta herbácea pertencente à família Zingiberaceae. O gengibre, também conhecido cientificamente por Zingiberofficinale, é um rizoma originário da Ásia, rico em compostos bioativos, com diversas aplicações terapêuticas na saúde e na culinária.

The present research results in the observation of a certain stretch of urban crossing used by pedestrians and/or cyclists in the municipality of Gurupi-TO. The municipality is cut perpendicularly by the BR-153, with the conflict between pedestrians who need to use this area and passenger and cargo vehicles. Usually, cities cut by stretches of highways have one side with greater development than the other, resulting in a constant flow of residents of the region, leaving these crossings dangerous due to the lack of elements that ensure the lives of the population.
