The Pereskiaacuelata plant has high nutritional value in its leaves, being rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals. The present work had as objetive develop a cereal bar containing the Pereskiaacuelata plant. The leaves of P. aculeata were dried and crushed in a knife mill and then the powder obtained from the plant was used in the preparation of the cereal bar, along with oat bran, rice flakes, sucrose syrup and honey.

The present research paper aims to study the effect of soret and radiation effects on an MHD convective fluid flow embedded in a porous medium with heat source. Dimensional non-linear coupled differential equations transformed into dimensional less by introducing similarity variables Time-dependent suction is assumed and the radiative flux is described using the differential approximation for radiation. The Galerkin finet element method is used to solve the equations governing flow.
Introdução: A epilepsia é um termo que engloba múltiplas anormais do comportamento cerebral, que se repetem espontaneamente. Significa repetição de crises epilépticas, que não são provocadas. Este artigo buscar aprofundar o conhecimento com relação aos fármacos usados no tratamento das crises epilépticas, principalmente em gestantes com relação a possíveis complicações morfológicas e fisiológicas para o desenvolvimento do feto. Objetivo: Conhecer os possíveis riscos ao desenvolvimento fetal provocados pelos medicamentos usados no tratamento em gestante com epilepsia.
O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar e descrever as percepções dos coordenadores dos programas de atividade física ofertados para idosos nas universidades públicas brasileiras de diferentes regiões, identificando semelhanças, diferenças e destacando indicadores para formulação de futuras propostas. Realizou uma pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória e descritiva. De um universo de 109 universidades públicas brasileiras, coletaram-se dados por meio de instrumento online com uma amostra de 54 coordenadores.

Objective: To highlight the agglomerations where the risk of transmission of onchocerciasis is highest in the region of Aboisso, with a view to eliminating this endemic in Côte d'Ivoire. Methods: Entomological surveys were carried out in the Aboisso region in the south-east of Côte d'Ivoire, in the forest zone, during the last semester of 2013 (from 2 July to 27 December). These surveys are part of a better knowledge of the status of onchocerciasis transmission in Côte d'Ivoire.
Os problemas ambientais originados pelo uso de adubosquímicos associados ao seu elevado preço fez com que na presente pesquisa fossem avaliados dois adubos orgânicos de origem galinácea como forma a minimizar os custos de produção da couve. Desta feita, a pesquisa objectivou avaliar efeitos dos adubos orgânicos no desempenho da cultura de couve tronchuda. Para tal, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa experimental obedecendo ao desenho experimental completamente casualizado com três repetições e três tratamentos (testemunha, cama de frango e esterco de galinha sem cama).
