The Regional Health Foundation is a public foundation governed by private sector law, an indirect state public administration created to bring innovation in management, efficiency, celerity and optimization of public resource spending. This is a descriptive and quantitative study of the Regional Health Foundation, its innovative institutional model and its workforce, analyzing the profile of the employees who carry out their activities in this organization. A total of 43 collaborators allocated to the organization's headquarters participated in this study.

Esse artigo tem como objetivo analisar os resultados dos estudos empíricos sobre a aplicação de silicatos de alumínio como adição mineral ao cimento Portland e em argamassas, tomando como base as publicações disponibilizadas na plataforma on-line Google Acadêmico no período de 2016 a 2021 a partir dos descritores: allintitle: “silicato de alumínio”, allintitle: “cimento” e allintitle: “argamassa”.

Objetivo: Analisar a relação entre frequência, quantidade de perda urinária e a percepção da interferência na QV de pacientes pós prostatectomia, bem como comparar a relação entre a interferência da QV conforme os tipos de IU e a severidade da perda urinária apresentada. Método: trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa, foram incluídos os prontuários dos pacientes prostatectomizados, acompanhados na Clínica Escola de Fisioterapia da Instituição do Centro Universitário Central Paulista / UNICEP, na cidade de São Carlos/SP nos anos de 2019 e 2020, que responderam ao questionário de QV ICIQ-SF.

Objectives: To investigate the main risk factors in cases hospitalized for COVID-19 in the state of Paraná. Methodology: This is an analytical, cross-sectional study of secondary data. The search was carried out through the website of the secretary of health of the state of Paraná (www.saude.pr.gov.br) through the “Coronavirus - COVID 19” platform that allows free access to information related to new cases, deaths and COVID vaccination in the state.

A violência contra a mulher praticada pelos parceiros íntimos, comumente chamada de violência doméstica, é um problema global de saúde pública. Manifesta-se por meio de abusos físicos, psíquicos, sexuais, morais e patrimoniais. Especificamente, a violência psicológica é a forma mais velada de agressão. Este artigo objetiva discutir a violência psicológica e suas consequências sobre a saúde das mulheres, destacando a importância do reconhecimento e da atenção dos profissionais da saúde aos abusos não físicos.

A anemia falciforme é uma desordem genética de grande importância clínica e epidemiológica, cuja característica principal é a herança do gene da globina beta S (gene βs), tendo como principais manifestações clínica os fenômenos vaso-oclusivos e a hemólise crônica.

O Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 (DM2) é uma doença crônica que ocorre em decorrência da disfunção das células β no pâncreas e / ou resistência à insulina no fígado, músculo esquelético ou tecido adiposo, levando a uma quantidade excessiva de glicose circulando no sangue. O objetivo do estudo foi analisar na literatura cientifica os efeitos terapêuticos das plantas medicinais no diabetes mellitus tipo 2.

Objective: To evaluate clinical and laboratory aspects of adolescents with Sickle Cell Disease treated with hydroxyurea. Methodology: a retrospective cohort study of patients with sickle cell anemia. The population will be adolescents who have been on hydroxyurea treatment for at least 2 years. Patients with other hemoglobinopathies, who abandoned treatment or died will be excluded. Data will be collected from medical records from September to October 2022. All ethical and legal principles will be respected and a significance level of 5% (p<0.05) will be considered.

The objective was to evaluate the ingestive behavior of dairy heifers confined and fed with passion fruit pell silage in natura with inclusion levels of dehydrated and concentrated passion fruit peel. The treatments consisted of 6 different silages, being: passion fruit silages with 0, 7, 14, 21, 28 and 35% inclusion of dehydrated passion fruit peel. Six dairy heifers distributed in a Latin square (6x6) were used. The data were submitted to the normality test (Shapiro-Wilk test), analysis of variance, polynomial contrasts and regressions, in SAS at 5% significance.
