Nursing assistance as a precursor for the prevention and monitoring of cervical cancer in the family health strategy

Cervical cancer, also known as cervical cancer, is caused by persistent infection with some types of Human Papillomavirus-HPV (called oncogenic types). In Brazil, it is the third most common malignant neoplasm among women, only surpassed by non-melanoma skin and breast cancers. Health professionals, such as nurses, are able to develop care for women who need attention, in different contexts, especially in carrying out educational activities and in the prevention of cervical cancer.

A comparison of abuse/violence cases against children and adolescents before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic: An integrative review

The COVID-19 pandemic has generated stress in the economic, emotional and psychological spheres of social structures, especially in families. Combined with measures taken to reduce the spread of SARS-CoV-2, these factors favor an increase in the incidence of cases of abuse/violence against children and adolescents. Through an integrative review, verify if after the establishment of lockdown periods, there was an increase in abuse/violence against children and adolescents compared to the pre-pandemic period.

Prevalência e fatores associados ao declínio cognitivo em idosos longevos assistidos na saúde suplementar

O objetivo deste estudo foi determinar a prevalência e os fatores associados ao declínio cognitivo, em idosos longevos assistidos na saúde suplementar. Foram analisados os dados de 254 indivíduos, com idade ≥80 anos, cadastrados na Estratégia de Saúde da Família da Caixa de Assistência dos Funcionários do Banco do Brasil.

Feed use efficiency on small scale dairy farms in the south of rio grande do Sul, Brazil

Types and amounts of feeds used, milk offtake and body weight changes of cows were monitored during 12 months on farms of cash crop and milk producers (CM) and cash crop producers with surplus milk marketing (Cm). The intake of feed dry matter (DM) and crude protein were different between the two production systems across the seasons. On a yearly basis, cows ingested 97.3g DM/kg0.75 and 100.8g DM/kg0.75 per day, consisting to 48% and 64% of forage from pastures, 33% and 17% silage or cut green forage and 18% mix of concentrates and grains on CM and Cm farms, respectively.

Behavioral characteristics in the disclosure of main matters in the audit reports of the banks listed on b3-Brazil stock exchange

The literature indicates that the auditor's behavioral characteristics related to the national culture in which he is inserted can influence the disclosure of main audit matters (PAA). This article aims to investigate whether the cultural influence of Brazilian auditors identified through the cultural dimensions of Hofstede (2001) influences the number of main audit matters disclosed by auditors of banks listed on B3.

Stigmas and barriers to palliative care and implications for cancer patients: a systematic review

Introduction: Although the literature recognizes the benefits of Palliative Care (PC) integrated with standard cancer treatment, access to PC is limited by barriers and stigmas and ends up directly influencing the care and support of cancer patients and their family caregivers. Objective: To analyze the implications of stigmas and barriers related to palliative care in the care of cancer patients. Methods: Systematic review study using Medline, SciELO, and LILACS databases to search for studies published from 2017 to 2022.

Assistência de enfermagem a pessoa com pancreatite necrotizante: um relato de experiência

Objetivo: Identificar os diagnósticos e intervenções de enfermagem no indivíduo com pancreatite necrotizante bem como descrever através de experiências vivenciadas pela equipe, a assistência de enfermagem prestada. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, tipo relato de experiência, baseado nos cuidados prestados a pacientes com pancreatite necrotizante internados em unidade de clínica médica, seguindo-se as fases do processo de enfermagem.

Incidência de defeitos de fechamento de tubo neural no Brasil

Objective: to analyze the incidence of neural tube closure defects by Brazilian states and regions before and after the mandatory supplementation of folic acid to flour. Methods: public data available for access in the DATASUS SINASC database were used, corresponding to the period between 1999 and 2016, and 2002 was the start date of supplementation, in relation to the incidence of spina bifida in live births in the national territory.

Acomunicação oroantral (COA)e a fistula oroantral (FOA) são patologias que seoriginama partir de complicações decorrentes de manobras iatrogênicas, infecções dentárias, osteomielite, radioterapia ou trauma. Os fechamentos das referidas patologias podem ser obtidos usando diferentes retalhos que apresentam indicações, vantagens e limitações. Portanto, é necessário uma seleção criteriosa para escolher a melhor abordagem para cada caso clínico. De acordo com a revisão, os retalhos mais utilizados são os retalhos palatinos e retalhos com a bola de bichat, além de técnicas associadas.

Tom Tom: A digital educational game prototype for theory of mind assessment and intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that compromises interaction and social communication, as well as causes behaviors that deviate from the patterns. Therefore, it causes deficits in social skills and cognitive processes inherent to the Theory of Mind, such as understanding and predicting one's own actions and the actions of others. This problem affects the school performance and social relationships of the autistic child.
