Nursing assistance as a precursor for the prevention and monitoring of cervical cancer in the family health strategy
Cervical cancer, also known as cervical cancer, is caused by persistent infection with some types of Human Papillomavirus-HPV (called oncogenic types). In Brazil, it is the third most common malignant neoplasm among women, only surpassed by non-melanoma skin and breast cancers. Health professionals, such as nurses, are able to develop care for women who need attention, in different contexts, especially in carrying out educational activities and in the prevention of cervical cancer.
