O pós-parto ou puerpério é o momento de vida da mulher no qual ocorrem manifestações involutivas e recuperativas do organismo materno após o parto, em que os profissionais de saúde devem fornecer informações e realizaravaliações específicas, uma vez que está sujeito a complicações.
Objective: To analyze maternal socialization goals for children in two urban contexts in Mozambique. Methods: Six mothers participated in the study, three from the urban context and three from the peri-urban context, who answered a semi-structured interview script with 12 questions, adapted from one question: “What does the mother expect of her child in the future?". Results: Through descriptive and qualitative analysis (content), it was found that for the urban context, there is a trend towards socialization goals aimed at independence, autonomy and gender equality.
In this article we analyze the influence of afforestation on human comfort for the humid equatorial climate, in which were collected data of air temperature, relative humidity, air speed and sidewalk temperature. The analysis of the observed data, show the importance of afforestation, temperature decrease, increasing the relative humidity and wind speed, and drastically reducing the pavement temperature, which together favor a better thermal comfort. To quantify thermal comfort, scenarios were simulated in Envi-met that reproduce the locations where the data was collected.
Objetivo: Correlacionar ingestão de nutrientes protetores contra a anemia com níveis de hemoglobina em crianças de seis a cinquenta e nove meses de idadede Projetos de Assentamentode área rural do Nordeste do Brasil. Métodos: Estudo quantitativo, transversal, descritivo e analítico, composto por 132 crianças. A coleta de dados foi realizada de maio a outubrode 2013, atravésde formulários com informações sobre condições socioeconômicas, demográficas e de aspectos de saúde da criança.Os níveis de hemoglobina foram determinados em contador automático.
The Cerrado biome has different fruit species with great potential for agri-food use. Several studies advance in this raw material to produce alternative products with longer shelf life and added value. Vinegar is a product of commercial interest and a rational way to take advantage of native fruits. Therefore, the fruits of the Cerrado, due to its constitution, with functional properties favorable to health, can facilitate its use by the food industry to obtain new products, such as apathetic fermentation.
Objetivou-se analisar a saúde e o contexto de trabalho de uma equipe de enfermagem que promove cuidados diretos aos pacientes diagnosticados com a COVID-19 em um hospital público do Pará. Trata-se de estudo transversal, descritivo e quantitativo, utilizando um Questionário geral sociodemográfico, a Escala de Avaliação do Contexto do Trabalho e a Escala de Avaliação de Danos Relacionados ao Trabalho. Os dados foram analisados com o Statistical Package for the Social Sciences.
Introduction: Sepsis occurs when chemicals released into the bloodstream to fight an infection trigger inflammation throughout the body. Objective: To analyze the actions of nurses in the care of patients with septic shock in the Intensive Care Unit. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review. Online indexes were used, such as Scientific and Technical Literature of Latin America and the Caribbean, Online System for Search and Analysis of Medical Literature and the Nursing and Virtual Health Database, in Portuguese and English languages, in the period from 2017 to 2020.
Fruits have bioactive compounds, which can delay or inhibit the propagation of chain reactions generated by free radicals. The search for relevant sources of these bioactive compounds has drawn attention to the vast biodiversity of the Amazon biome represented by native and exotic fruits, with peculiar flavor and characteristics, which have in their composition phenolic compounds, flavonoids, carotenoids and other bio actives that act from the prevention to the treatment of clinical diseases.
The present study investigated and compared the diversity of two nearby streams with explicit differences in urban exploration. Pointing to richness, dominance and diversity models in both environments, the Jacubinha and Neblina streams, tributaries of the Lontra sub-basin and tributaries of the Araguaia-Tocantins Basin in eastern Amazon, north of the state of Tocantins. Sampling took place between 2014 and 2020, using multiple methodologies (nets, cast nets, hauling, scoops and sieves). reaching 1374 individuals of 85 identified species, distributed in 26 families, and 8 orders.
