OBJETIVO: Avaliar a qualidade de vida de mulheres com câncer de colo uterino submetidas a tratamento oncológico. METODOLOGIA: Estudo descritivo e transversal, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, englobando aspectos relacionados à qualidade de vida após o tratamento por meio cirúrgico, radioterápico, quimioterápico ou uma combinação destas modalidades. Foram estudadas 74 mulheres a partir de 18 anos. Todas estavam no mínimo no 3º mês de seguimento pós tratamento.

Human rights are extended to everyone, regardless of their link to a given constitutional order, and have a supranational character. The aim of the article is to discuss human rights and verify the impact of globalization, especially influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic, in the Brazilian context. It is divided into three stages, the first dealing with human rights, the second dealing with globalization and the third dealing with the coronavirus pandemic in the Brazilian context.

O presente artigo busca demonstrar a motivação e a ocorrência de óbitos nas unidades carcerárias Dr. Edvaldo Gomes, localizada no município de Petrolina, em Pernambuco, e do Conjunto Penal localizado na cidade de Juazeiro, na Bahia, ocorridas no período de 2012 a 2019. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, descritiva e documental, que traz uma breve sequência cronológica da evolução da pena e do cárcere, verificando também a responsabilidade civil objetiva do Estado em relação aos indivíduos reclusos.

A osteoartrose no Brasil representa uma das principais causas para busca aos serviços médicos, acometendo um elevado número de pessoas, sendo um importante fator de morbidade por causas gerais principalmente na faixa etária acima dos 65 anos, sobretudo pelo componente álgico e limitante decorrente desta patologia, apresentando—se como um tema de relevância para a saúde pública que necessita de diagnóstico e tratamento adequados. A pesquisa propõe identificar o número de internações, traçando o perfil epidemiológico, detalhando o gênero mais comumente acometido pela doença.

Objective: To describe the experiences of women with mastectomies, undergoing chemotherapy, in relation to sexuality. Method: Descriptive study with a qualitative approach, carried out with eighteen women, in an outpatient chemotherapy service, of a regional hospital, located in the interior of Minas Gerais. For data collection, semi-structured individual interviews were used, from August to September 2020. Data analyzed according to the technique of content analysis. Research project approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the State University of Minas Gerais, under number 4,181,540.

Este artigo apresenta o processo de construção participativa do protocolo comercial comunitário, como resultado de atividades promovidas pelo Instituto Peabiru nas comunidades dos rios Araraiana e Urinduba, no município de Ponta de Pedras, Marajó, Estado do Pará, entre 2019 e 2021. O estudo utilizou a abordagem de estudo de caso como forma de apresentar os resultados dessa experiência de organização e comercialização de populações extrativistas da região.

Background: Canine elbow dysplasia (ED) is a common developmental disorder of the cubital joint that can lead to varying degrees of degenerative joint disease in growing animals and adults.
