The study aimed to investigate the repercussions of the use of oral anticoagulants in the lives of users during ambulatorial follow-up. This is a research with a qualitative approach, following the assumptions of Thematic Oral History, carried out in the oral anticoagulation clinic of the Cardiovascular Emergency Room of Pernambuco. Data collection occurred through interviews with six employees, and the analysis took place through thematic content analysis.

This paper outlines some results from a PhD research concerning Higher Education, The Open University of Brazil and Distance Learning underlining issues about Social mobilityand development. The context is two Learning Centres delivering undergraduate courses from five public universities through The Open University of Brazil (UAB, abbreviation in Portuguese) consortium in MarajóIsland, State of Pará, Brazil.

India is facing enormous gender based problems even in modern era. Despite small progress in this area after globalization, India finds its rank at the bottom of mostly all international surveys. Academicians always believed that education would change the present scenario. This paper aims to assess statistical relationship between two set of ranks namely Safety Index of Indian Women (2011) & Literacy Rate of Indians (2011). Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient (rs) has been calculated and has been tested at 1% statistical significance.

Introdução: O Brasil atualmente, se destaca como um dos maiores produtores agrícolas estando no terceiro lugar em exportação mundial de commodities agrícolas. Dentro do universo agrícola brasileiro a grande maioria dos estabelecimentos agrícolas é constituída por pequenos/médios produtores, população essa que engloba a agricultura familiar. Objetivo: Nesse sentido, o presente artigo buscou analisar as contribuições das pesquisas científicas no período de 2016 a 2020 para a promoção da agricultura familiar sustentável. Metodologia: Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão narrativa.

This study aimed to understand, through defined variables, the national policy of sustainable development of traditional peoples and communities in the context of the Xerente do Tocantins indigenous community. The central question of this study is: How can this policy contribute to the Xerente de Tocantins indigenous community? Assuming that the policy's contribution is to allow a balanced development of the exploitation and use of the region's natural resources.

Apresentamos as contribuições de autores e teorias que nortearam nosso percurso de compreensão do objeto de estudo sobre o uso das novas tecnologias da comunicação por grupos migrantes, no processo de construção do sentido de pertença, considerando as várias perspectivas de análise que o corpus demanda, uma vez que é constituído por sujeitos e grupos com alguns elementos de proximidade, mas que apresentam características próprias em diversos aspectos: geográficos, históricos, sociais, institucionais.

A meningite é uma doença grave, de grande relevância para a saúde pública, responsável por elevada taxa de mortalidade, que atinge o Sistema Nervoso Central, ocasionada por diferentes agentes etiológicos podendo ser de origem infecciosa e não infecciosa. O presente estudo consiste em um estudo transversal, descritivo e retrospectivo, no qual propôs verificar o perfil epidemiológico da meningite no Brasil, no período de 2018 e 2019, evidenciando as variáveis tipo de etiologia, sexo, idade, zona de residência e grau de escolaridade.

This article is devoted to the problems of effective functioning of the processing industry in Kyrgyzstan in modern conditions. At the present stage, the effective functioning of the agricultural sector and processing of agricultural products is extremely important for the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic due to the fact that they make up the basic industries and occupy a significant share in the country's gross domestic product (GDP).

The term pesticide rather than crop protection came to be used in Brazil to denote agricultural poisons. Pesticides are chemicals used in agriculture, in order to combat pests, pathogens and organisms that compromise agricultural production. But the indiscriminate and inappropriate use of these products may cause potential risks not only to the ground as the entire food chain, and especially in Public Health. In this sense, the improper handling of pesticides is a major cause of health problems in the field. Farmers spraying pesticides on crops is exposed to highly toxic products.
