Objetivou-se com o presente estudo avaliar a prevalência de lesões por pressão (LPPs) em pacientes internados em um hospital privado de Teresina-PI. Trata-se de um estudo epidemiológico de campo de caráter descritivo, retrospectivo com abordagem quantitativa, realizado por meio dos prontuários dos pacientes internados. A coleta englobou as seguintes variáveis: sexo; faixa etária; peso; cor da pele; motivo da internação; escore da Escala de Braden; data de internação; utilização ou não de medicamentos de uso contínuo; desenvolvimento de LPP durante o período de internação; e local da LPP.

Demographically, it is said that the future will be formed by an elderly population, not only because fertility has been systematically reduced, but also due to the fact that human life expectancy is higher. This is the result of advances in several areas of science. One of the convenient results of this process is the fact that in terms of pathologies the number of deaths has been reduced. Estratégias de reabilitação física que visem a manutenção da capacidade e prevenção do declínio funcional devem ser incluídas rotineiramente para essa população. The study investigated the influence of covid-19 on price of oil and raw materials in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. The objective of this study was to describe the main parameters related to the diagnosis of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (POS). An integrative review was carried out with a search in the PUBMED, MEDLINE and virtual health library (VHL) databases, using the descriptors "polycystic ovary syndrome", "diagnosis"AND"clinical aspects" AND"markers" AND "diagnostic imaging". The inclusion criteria of the research: articles in English, Portuguese and Spanish available complete and online, published between 2016 and 2020, being excluded articles that did not address diagnostic methods of POS.
