Objective: To trace the epidemiological profile and evaluate the quality of life of patients undergoing replacement therapies, and whether there is a difference between these groups. Materials and Methods: This is a cross-sectional, descriptive, quantitative study conducted with 75 patients submitted to renal replacement therapies in a university hospital in the metropolitan region of Recife, of whom 42 were hemodialysis, 22 were peritoneal dialysis and 12 were transplanted, who agreed to participate in the research.

Omini-curso “Estratégias para Devolutiva na Avaliação Neuropsicológica Infanto-juvenil” (EDANP-i)” foi construído a partir do princípio da Análise do Comportamento da“Programação de Ensino”.

Objetivo: descrever o processo de elaboração e apresentar o Modelo Lógico do Programa Academia da Saúde para gestão da iniciativa pelo Ministério da Saúde (MS). Método: estudo qualitativo com uso de técnicas de análise documental e de grupo focal para discussão e elaboração do Modelo Lógico (ML) com representantes do Programa Academia da Saúde no MS e das secretarias estaduais e municipais de saúde de Pernambuco, Espírito Santo, Ceará, Goiás e Rio de Janeiro. Resultado: foi elaborado o Modelo Lógico do Programa Academia da Saúde para gestão nacional da iniciativa.

Este artigo apresenta os resultados de um projeto cujos objetivos envolveram a interdisciplinaridade como meio de articular a educação ambiental no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, a fim de oferecer suporte para promover novas atitudes e comportamentos positivos aos alunos em relação esse tema no contexto escolar. Sendo assim, o projeto de pesquisa foi desenvolvido em quatro turmas de sexto ano do ensino fundamental. Os alunos produziram diferentes objetos utilizando-se de materiais recicláveis. Ao final, os objetos produzidos foram exibidos na escola.

Quality of medical consultation services contributes to patient’s satisfaction with medical consultation services. For improvement of consultancy services, there is a need to regularly evaluate knowledge and satisfaction of patients. However, there are very few studies evaluating both quality and quantity of consultation services especially on non-communicable diseases. This study therefore employed cross-sectional design to identify diabetic medical consultation services and assessed the knowledge and satisfaction of diabetic outpatients.

Objetivo: avaliar os cuidados prescritos pela enfermagem em idosos com lesão por pressão notificada. Método: análise documental, coleta de dados realizada em maio de 2018 em 172 prontuários e fichas de notificação de lesão por pressão em idosos internados em 2017 em hospital terciário do Sistema Único de Saúde no Norte do Paraná. Dados analisados no Statistical Package for Social Sciences. CAAE: 51706115.2.0000.5231. Resultados: Dos 172 idosos notificados 11% internaram com lesão por pressão. Lesão em região sacral acometeu 89% dos idosos.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the antibacterial activity of the Red Propolis from Alagoas (RPA) against Staphylococcus species isolated from air conditioner filters and surfaces of an intensive care unit in a tertiary-care public hospital in Maceió (Alagoas State). Sterile swabs were used for sample collection. Bacteria were grown in brain heart infusion (BHI) agar at 370C (24 hours), and presumptively identified by conventional biochemical tests. Antimicrobial susceptibility was determined using the disk diffusion method.

The present study is the result of research based on observation from pedagogical practices and analysis from literature review on the theme of the teaching-learning process of reading in Elementary School. Observations lead us to realize that the habit of reading requires learning a specific form of communication, which establishes and controls this symbolic universe, an interactive space in which new meanings are being shared, experienced from the moment reading begins.
