Content validation of a care plan for children with kidney diseases

Objective: To develop and validate the content of a care plan for children with kidney diseases. Method: Content validation study using the Delphi technique carried out with 34 specialist nurses in the first round and 22 in the second round. The steps were: identification of nursing diagnoses, outcomes and interventions, elaboration of the care plan and content validation by specialists. The content validity index was used in the twophases of the Delphi method. Results: A care plan was elaborated with 11 nursing diagnoses, 15 nursing outcomes and 22 nursing interventions.

Health care to transgeneric population in a mental health nursing

Historically, the division based only on biological sex is old, this perception has changed over time and across cultures. The objective of this work is to report the experiences of logistics in the hospitalization of transgender and transvestite people in a mixed mental health ward of a large public hospital in the city of Uberlândia. This is a descriptive study, type of experience report, which describes the activities developed in the face of hospitalization of transgender and transvestite patients in a mixed psychiatric ward.

Importance of agroforestry home gardens for food production and supplementing the income of small rural producers in the Amazonas State, Brazil

Agroforestry home gardens are one of the most important production systems due to their intensive production, providing a diversity of products for local use, contributing to the quality of life of the population and maintaining various products for family consumption, in addition to generating marketable surpluses, collaborating with the regional economy. This study evaluated the importance of agroforestry home gardens in food production and supplementing the income of small rural producers in the Boa Esperança community, in the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo, Amazonas, Brazil.

Influence of entrepreneurial social network on the competitiveness and the growth of msmes based on the theory of structural hole

The objectives of this research were to study the factors of structural hole in entrepreneurial social network, the determinants of competitiveness and growth of MSMEs, and the influence mechanism between entrepreneurial social resources and the growth of MSMEs based on structural hole theory. The research was a quantitative research used survey questionnaires to collect data from entrepreneurs or senior managers of MSMEs in China.

Teoria de paterson e zderad: aplicabilidade humanística no pré-natal

Objetivo: construir um estudo teórico-reflexivo acerca da teoria humanística de Paterson e Zderad, e a sua relação a aplicabilidade no pré-natal. Método: estudo reflexivo, construído mediante a utilização da teoria humanística da enfermagem aplicada as práticas atuais no pré-natal. A reflexão foi sintetizada no período de janeiro de 2019, integralizando conceitos e práticas humanizadas. Resultados: é perceptível através dessa reflexão a relevância da aplicabilidade da teoria humanística durante as consultas de pré-natal, considerando todas as modificações no modelo biomédico que ocorreram.

This study aimed to know traffic homicide repercussions in the life of the supposed causer of the accident. The research is qualitative, with ten drivers responding to criminal proceedings for negligence causing death in traffic. The thematic categories were: traffic accident history; feelings experienced during and after the accident; behavioral changes after the accident; legal repercussions after the traffic accident. The history of traffic accident was reported as a description of how it happened, with the exemption of the author´s responsibility for the fact.

Influence of “ekisaakaate” native language instruction pedagogy on early childhood moral learning outcomes in Buganda Kingdom

Promoting the moral development at early childhood level may be the key to creating human beings that are caring and emotionally stable. However, there is still debate on whether the approach to promote children’s moral development should continue following a formal path or revert to traditional practices, especially when there is no universal agreement on the appropriate moral standard for all. This paper devoted itself to exploring the influence of traditional “ekisaakaate” native language instruction pedagogy on early childhood moral learning outcomes in Buganda Kingdom.

Sistema único de saúde sob a ótica de gestores municipais de saúde

Objetivo: Conhecer a percepção de gestores municipais de saúde sobre o Sistema Único de Saúde. Método: Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratório-descritiva, de caráter qualitativo, realizada com por meio de entrevista semiestruturada com nove gestores municipais de saúde de municípios que integram a 4ª Coordenadoria Regional de Saúde do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul.

Heróis também sentem medo e choram: o desenho como ferramenta do cuida

Objetivo: Compreender a percepção e os sentimentos expressos pela criança no pré-operatório sobre o seu procedimento cirúrgico. Método: Estudo descritivo, qualitativo, desenvolvido em um hospital público, que assiste a população infanto-juvenil. A população foi composta por 15 crianças, no período pré-operatório, na faixa etária de 7 a 12 anos. Os dados foram coletados por intermédio da entrevista presencial. A análise das entrevistas deu-se por meio da técnica de Análise de Conteúdo sugerida por Bardin, e os desenhos foram estudados através do método Desenho-Estória “inquérito”.

Drug users: clinical, consumption and associated diseases

Objective: to analyze the clinical aspects, the pattern of consumption and associated diseases in drug users. Method: Cross-sectional exploratory-descriptive study carried out in municipalities of the 11th Regional Health Coordination of the State of Ceará, Brazil. The show was made up of 141 drug users. The instruments were: sociodemographic, clinical form and consumption pattern. Results: 64.5% are male, and 50.3% then in the age group between 21 and 50 years old. 56.7% have a Catholic religion.
