Objetivou-se com este estudo caracterizar as lesões autoprovocadas e óbitos por suicídio no estado do Piauí. Tratou-se de um estudo descritivo com dados das lesões autoprovocadas e óbitos por suicídio, obtidos, respectivamente, no Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação (SINAN) e Sistema de Informações sobre Mortalidade (SIM), no período de 2015 a 2017. Foram notificadas 2.652 lesões autoprovocadas no estado do Piauí, das quais 67,2% eram mulheres e 69% do grupo etário de 15 a 39 anos, sendo o envenenamento e enforcamento os métodos mais utilizados.

The authors are commenting on the study entitled “Response of neovascular central serous chorioretinopathy to an extended upload of anti-VEGF agents” published by Schworm et al. in Graefe Arch Clin Exp Ophthalmol 2020;258(5):1013-1021, which retrospectively evaluated the anatomical and functional outcomes of an extended 6-month intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor upload in choroidal neovascularization secondary to chronic central serous chorioretinopathy. The database analysis included 21 eyes of 21 patients.

Objective: To analyze, in the speeches of patients, the relation that complies the nurse's professional identity in the primary health care area. Methods: descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 22 users of Primary Health Care in the city of Cajazeiras, Paraiba, Brazil. The overall goal of this study was to determine the causes of road crashes related to road infrastructure parameters on the National Road No. 3 (N3) and provide measures to improve the safety of all road users. To achieve this, 225 accident reports for the years 2017 and 2018 were collected from the State Defense Secretariat. This accident data was analyzed using the crash frequency and the injury severity density criteria to obtain the accident-prone locations (7 critical sections and 2 critical intersections) and a map presenting these locations produced with ArcGis 10.4.1.

In order to come up with an overview to statistical analysis of the major deadly corona virus disease, the paper provides a critical assessment of global situation of COVID-19 pandemic. In order to come up with a perceptive result, a complete collection of 90 days records (WHO situation reports) of the pandemic have been studied and relevant information have extracted to prepare a working model of dataset.

O presente artigo tem como objetivo geral compreender o processo de preparação para aposentadoria e suas implicações no pós-carreira na vida da pessoa idosa.

Objetivo: conhecer como os ACS, em seu processo de trabalho, vêm realizando ações no enfoque da promoção e prevenção à saúde na atenção ao RN, assim como as dificuldades vividas no desempenho de suas atividades, e como se estabelece, em seu processo de trabalho, o planejamento de ações específicas para a atenção aos RN. Metodologia: O estudo foi descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, realizado em seis ESF que compõem a rede de atenção primária do SUS de Ananindeua/PA com participação de 30 ACS, onde as coletas de dados foram realizadas através de entrevistas após a assinatura do TCLE.

The quality of health is linked to different factors of which it is cited Patient Safety, including proper hand hygiene. This study aims to evaluate the available literature on the importance of hand hygiene in patient safety. This is an integrative review study from data published in journals from 2013 to 2017 and indexed consulted in BDENF system, LILACS, SciELO and MEDLINE in the period from March to July 2018, which the articles were selected, by crossing between the following descriptors: Nursing, Patient Safety and Clean hands.

Objetivo: Discutir a enfermagem oncológica na era dos saberes plurais e do pensamento pós-abissal. Método: Estudo teórico-reflexivo, de abordagem qualitativa, com base na obra de Zygmunt Bauman, de Boaventura de Sousa Santosbem como nos saberes plurais na Oncologia. Resultados: A enfermagem enquanto profissão social cuida das pessoase encontra-se em constante busca de um cuidado com mais qualidade instituindo novastecnologias como as práticas integrativas e complementares em especial na Oncologia.

Objective: to study the risk factors for chronic non-communicable diseases in quilombola communities in Brazil. Methods: An integrative review of the publications constructed between the years 2009 and 2017, which was carried out through the Lilacs, Medline, Pubmed and MedCaribe databases, present in the Virtual Health Library. Results: 30 publications distributed through health descriptors and it was found that the main risk factors for CNCD are smoking, alcoholism and sedentary lifestyle, whose women, children and elders are the most vulnerable.
