This study aimed to determine the incidence of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) among primary school children in Ulaanbaatar and identify the correlation between their hair elements and intelligence quotient. Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder that occurs during childhood development, which presents with signs of reduced attention and hyperactivity1.A total of 973 primary school children 6 – 12 years of age belonging to grades 2 - 5, along with 973 parents/caretakers, and 91 class teachers were recruited from secondary schools of Ulaanbaatar city.

Introduction: Excessive weight is considered a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, and it is frequently present among the causes of death. Its prevalence has increased worldwide, raising the need to investigate behaviors and factors associated with excessive weight at early ages so as to create subsidies for prevention and health education actions. To analyze excessive weight and its association with cardiovascular and behavioral factors in young adults in schools. Methods: Analytical, quantitative study with 1073 young adults from 52 schools.

Introdução: As teorias de enfermagem dão suporte ao enfermeiro no que concerne as definições dos papéis na execução da assistência de enfermagem. Para implementação de uma teoria é essencial o uso de um método científico a exemplo do Processo de Enfermagem. Objetivo: Identificar os modos fisiológico, autoconceito, função de papel e interdependência do modelo de adaptação de Roy na rotina dos pacientes assim como elencar diagnósticos e intervenções de enfermagem na assistência a clientes com tuberculose pulmonar durante internação hospitalar.

A queda em idosos é considerada um problema de saúde pública e suas complicações acarretam danos emocionais e físicos podendo gerar alterações na mobilidade e até levar a óbito, além de causar gastos com internação. Introduction: In the last century, infecctious diseases were the main cause of death in Brazil and in the world, currently external causes are one of the major public health concerns. The present study aimed to assess deaths from external causes in a Brazilian state. Materials and methods: This is a retrospective descriptive comparative epidemiological study, using national databases from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and the SUS Department of Informatics (DATASUS) from 2010 to 2017.

Exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) is recommended for healthlygrowth and development of children. It has been widely demonstrated that breastfeeding reduces risk to several infections and non-comunicable diseases. As a result the WHO recommend exclusive breastfeeding for up to 6 months but it is poorly understood how cultural and maternal practices influence the exclusive breastfeeding. This study assessed how the cultural and maternal practices influence of exclusive breastfeeding among mothers with children aged 0 – 6 months in Kiamabundu Location Kisii County.

Objetivo: Compreender a perspectiva de idosos em relação ao apoio familiar no cuidado com a úlcera varicosa. Método: Pesquisa qualitativa com dez idosos entre 67 e 80 anosem tratamento em Unidades Básicas de Saúde de Minas Gerais. Realizaram-se entrevistas abertas em 2017 e a análise dos dados foi respaldadapela fenomenologia social de Alfred Schütz. Resultados: Os idosos referiram receber auxílio dos familiares na realização de atividades básicas da vida diária, nas tarefas domésticas e no curativo no domicílio, além do acompanhamento para idas ao serviço de saúde.
