Prevalence and risk factors of health care associated infections in ICU: A Cross Sectional Study

Abstract: Healthcare-associated infections (HAI) are regarded as the most common adverse events in health care service delivery. Most Common types of HAIs includes Surgical Site infections (SSI), Urinary tract infections (UTI), Blood stream infections (BSI) and Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP). Adult inpatients in common specialties who developed hospital acquired infection (HAI) remained in hospital 2.5 times longer, incurred hospital costs almost three times higher. Present study aims to assess the prevalence and risk factors of health care associated infections in ICU.

Genotypic and Phenotypic Correlation and path Coefficient Analysis in field Pea (Pisum Sativum L.) Genotypes at Asasa, Ethiopia

In Ethiopia, field pea (Pisum sativum L.) is the main source of protein for resource poor growers. The improvement of varieties for yield and disease resistance is one of the important activities to support farmers and improve the productivity of the crop. Consequently, this study was showed to evaluate the genotypic correlations, phenotypic correlations and path coefficient analysis between the field pea genotypes for yield and yield associated traits. Forty-nine field pea genotypes were evaluated in simple lattice design at Asasa in 2019 cropping season.

The effectiveness of the use of special autonomy funds in improving the achievement of education indicators

This study examines how well Special Autonomy Funds (otsus) boost education in Manokwari Regency from 2020 to 2022. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with inductive methods. It looks at otsus money for education and school enrollment rates at primary junior high, and high school levels. In 2020, Manokwari's otsus education fund was Rp 290,000,000. It dropped to Rp 250,000,000 in 2021 but jumped to Rp 334,868,208 in 2022. The analysis shows primary schools saw more kids enroll. The net enrollment rate rose from 91.29% in 2021 to 92.44% in 2022.

Lack of employment throughout the year makes difficulty to survive and labourer are forced to move out with the aim of better employment or stable earnings throughout the year. Migration from villages to the other places for work, increases wage and economic conditions of the migrant workers.

Lifestyle habits and Anthropometric Measures of Adolescents in a Brazilian Public School

Objective: To analyze the dietary profile and habits of adolescents enrolled in a Brazilian public school and to verify the association between these data and their anthropometric and blood pressure measurements. Method: This is a cross-sectional, observational and analytical study. Sample was composed by 156 adolescents aged between 12 and 16 years. Participants were asked about their sociodemographic characteristics, their diet history, life habits, past personal and family pathological history, their association to their parents and their mental health.
