The choice by fast and safe transportation that seeks to meet the needs of leisure, work and health along with tax exemption policies make the acquisition of the vehicle a viable option for some drivers with disabilities. However, once inserted in the traffic it is necessary to guarantee road safety conditions to minimize the exposure of drivers with disabilities to risk of accident.
Backaches constitutes one of the most common complaints in the adult population, impairing about 60% to 80% of the people at some moment in their lives. Various factors intervene in its occurrence, being able to have specific causes or not. In the conservative treatment Dry Needling has been gaining space as a therapeutic alternative. The goal of the study was to measure the effect of Dry Needling on the pain and functionality of people with low back pain.
Syphilis is one of the most prevalent sexually transmitted infections in Brazil. It is a systemic disease, with rapid tests available in Primary Care, that is, with rapid diagnosis. Nevertheless, the indicators of Gestational Syphilis continue in an upward curve and the curve of Congenital Syphilis follows the same way.
This study investigates the combined effect of deploying Nano-Silica (NS) and banana fibers (BF) on mechanical properties of hardened concrete. NS has been used as the partial replacement of cement by 0, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 and 4.5% by weight, and BF has used as volume substitution by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6%. In our present investigation, banana fibres having 40mm length were used. Compressive strength and split tensile strengthare determinedby using various combinations of NS and BF.
This research investigated the effect of varying the volume of Balanites aegyptiaca seed oil via esterification on the physicochemical properties of cellulosic fabric. The oil was soxhlet extracted with hexane. The oil yield was 40% and the moisture content was 0.22%. The fabrics (10cm x 10cm and 21 cm × 2.5 cm) were pretreated by scouring, bleaching and mercerization then esterified with 10cm3 through 60cm3 of oil. The effects of these treatments gave improvement in the dry and wet crease recovery angles and yarn twist.

Therefore, project managers seek to manage risks by demanding decisions about their treatment. A widely used tool in this process is the Probability and Impact Matrix (PIM) that is popular, but deficient. This paper aimed to answer the question "How to classify risks in projects using Support Vector Machines (SVM)?". To answer this question, SVMs were applied to process risks, previously classified using an PIM.
The present study aims to define the socioeconomic profile of victims of homicide to understand some determinant aspects of their deaths. For such purpose, we used the descriptive analysis technique. The socioeconomic data of the victims were obtained from the Legal Medical Institute of the Center of Scientific Expertise “Renato Chaves”, located in Belém-PA, from 2011 to 2013. The results identified conditions of socioeconomic vulnerability.

Genetics, intrinsic (endogenous) and extrinsic (environmental) factors play potential role in complex process of aging. Aged skin shows abnormalities in angiogenesis, immune system, vitamin D synthesis, wound healing and sweat and lipid production causing benign and malignant cancers. The ongoing overview uncovers the relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic skin aging processes.
Pieris brassicae (L., 1758) (Lepidoptera: Pieridae) is considered one of the main pests of cabbage crops; The article describes the use of local entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) (S.thesami, S.tbilisiense, S. borjomiense, S. gurgistana and Heterorhabditis sp.) against P. brassicae in laboratory conditions. These nematodes were first used for cabbage pests. The tests were carried out with different doses of a suspension of each species of nematode (100, 50 and 25 nematodes against one insect).
This paper aims at proposing the right and effective approach to innovation in the Egyptian banking sector which is capable of creating a sustainable competitive advantage in order to achieve the banking objectives in terms of profitability and growth.
