The heart serves as a vital organ that pumps blood to the lungs for oxygenation and subsequently distributes this oxygenated blood throughout the body. It takes approximately 20 seconds for the heart to circulate blood to every cell in the body. Without oxygen-rich blood, cells would perish, resulting in significant organ damage. A heart-healthy lifestyle includes proper nutrition, consistent physical activity, keeping a healthy body weight, abstaining from smoking, consuming alcohol in moderation, abstaining from recreational drugs, managing hypertension, and effectively handling stress.

Este artigo analisa a fraude à cota de gênero, a participação feminina na política e os julgados da Justiça Eleitoral. Destacando a importância da igualdade de gênero na política, explorou as cotas eleitorais como instrumentos legais para promover a representatividade feminina. Contudo, abordou a ameaça da fraude às cotas, exemplificada pelas candidaturas femininas fictícias, e a necessidade de uma aplicação efetiva das leis eleitorais para garantir a integridade do processo democrático.

Eugenia dysenterica (Mart.) DC. is a tree species native to the Brazilian Cerrado, popularly known as “cagaita” or “cagaiteira.” The species is part of the Cerrado bee flora, and its leaves and bark are used in folk medicine to combat heart problems and treat diarrheal diseases, diabetes, and jaundice. The present study aimed to evaluate the antioxidant activity and photoprotective potential and determine the content of total phenolic compounds in the ethanol and aqueous extracts of the leaves and bark of a specimen of E. dysenterica.

Its main purpose is to shift the focus from the current host-centric network model, in which the communication is based on IP addresses and point-to-point communication, to a data-centric model. NDN is an alternative for the traditional host-centric networking architecture, which is based on “Internet Protocol” (IP). It is a useful networking model which allows content directly addressable and routable.
