Documentary study on elderly people diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, followed up in a public primary Care Service, in the City of São Paulo

Objectives: To know the prevalence of obesity in users diagnosed with type I or II diabetes mellitus, treated at a Basic Health Unit in the southern zone of the city of São Paulo, from month to month, 2022. Methods: This is an epidemiological, descriptive, cross-sectional and documentary study, where data were collected from one hundred and thirty-nine assessments (139) medical records.

ICTS in Brazilian family farming: facing isolation and digital exclusion

The article records the evolution of primary data made by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) with the aim of understanding the progressive digital inclusion in the Brazilian rural world. We revisit in an updated perspective a survey that originates in 2006 and continues until 2022, relating the consumption of ICTs by Brazilian family farming. The importance of mobile phones is highlighted, anticipating the arrival of Smartphones and the Internet in rural areas. The exodus of young people, especially girls, is a reality even in family farming.

Este trabalho pretende realizar estudos sobre a práxis pedagógica das escolas do campo de ensino médio, uma análise das estratégias pedagógicas e suas matrizes formativas. A pesquisa quanto aos objetivos foi de natureza exploratória e descritiva, tendo como abordagem a pesquisa qualitativa. Optou-se pelo materialismo histórico dialético por possibilitar compreender uma escola do campo em movimento no desenvolvimento de sua proposta de educação do campo a partir de seus pressupostos pedagógicos e filosóficos de seus projetos políticos pedagógicos.

This research seeks to analyze the Potassium Amazonas Project - Autazes in the Municipality of Autazes, State of Amazonas, Brazil, on the Indigenous Land of the Mura Ethnicity, with the proposal for an enterprise focused on the extraction of potassium chloride from sylvinite with the objective of manufacturing of fertilizers to supply the Brazilian domestic market. Initially, the objective was to verify the entrepreneurial company's proposal with the negative impacts, the mitigating measures, as well as the positive impacts.

O Câncer de Boca (CB) trata-se de um grave problema de saúde pública, com uma alta taxa de morbimortalidade todos os anos no mundo, além de demandar recursos financeiros, insumos e mão-de-obra profissional para o manejo e tratamento. O presente estudo tem como objetivo principal expor os principais estudos acerca do câncer de boca, demonstrando o manejo, tratamento, diagnóstico, epidemiologia e fatores de risco. Além disso, tem como objetivo secundário auxiliar futuros estudos sobre a temática proposta.

Antagonistic effect of ceramic industry soil streptomycesagainst plant pathogens

The various diseases that occur during the growth of plants usually cause a significant reduction in production and quality of agricultural products. Actinomycetes, especially Streptomyces spp., become a valuablebiological control resource due to their preponderant abilities to produce various secondary metabolites with novel structure and remarkable biological activity. The potassium solubilizing actinomycetes isolated from the ceramic soil industries were carried out anantagonistic effect against various soil borne phytopathogenic fungiand bacteria.

Background: Motherhood is a beautiful process, where by mothers safely delivers a child. It is the magic of creation. During child birth, the women may sustain some degree of perineal trauma due to perineal tear or surgical incision called episiotomy. The care of episiotomy is an important aspect of postnatal care. One of the suggested methods is a regular antiseptic sitzbath. Nowadays, using alternative and complimentary therapies such as Lavender oil in aromatherapy have been recognized in obstetrics. It has antibacterial, antifungal, sedative, antidepressant and healing properties.
