A contextualized study of vivekananda’s neo-vedanta (through karl mannheim approach of sociology of knowledge)

This paper aims to evaluate a contextualized interpretation of Vivekananda’s neo-Vedanta in nineteen century Bengali society by implementing the Karl Mannheim approach of sociology of knowledge. This approach will focus the socio-historical perspectives that facilitate the transformation of Classical Indian Vedanta philosophy to neo-Vedanta. Religious encountering in pluralistic society posed serious threats of assimilations and syncreticism to religious beliefs.

Historical context and major predictors of maloclusions and the effect of space mainteners

The elaboration of this research engenders studies of dentistry and its performance in the treatment of malocclusions or malocclusions, classified among the main public health problems. In a socio-historical way, we discuss the precursors of this study to the present day by the treatments offered with the use of the maintainers of removable or fixed spaces, in addition to their advantages and disadvantages. The objective of focuses on the eminence of the psychological, social and physical impacts caused by malocclusion to the individual.

Determinants of women unemployment: evidence from ethiopia (case of halabatown, snnpr)

Unemployment is a macroeconomic problem that affects people most directly and severely. Women constitute about half of the world’s population. Even though women’s employment has many social and economic importance, their employment in any sector is much lower than their counter part male. This study was aimed at identifying the major determinants of unemployment of women in Halaba Town. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires to a total of 385 women using stratified random sampling technique. Stratification technique was applied by grouping women by kebeles where they live.

Technological transformation of manufacturing by smart factory vision: industry 4.0

The rapid advances of information technology in recent years have provided an unprecedented opportunity for enterprises to transform their production systems by establishing “Smart Factories” where manufacturing activities are carried out through self-managing machines without the need for human operators. Having to keep pace with this development, countries and businesses are making great efforts to adapt to Industry 4.0 strategies in order to have competitive advantage. In line with this trend, this study has two objectives.

Basic life support teaching for undergraduate nursing students

Objective: To elaborate, implement and evaluate a Basic Life Support education program for undergraduate Nursing students using a virtual technology of learning and traditional teaching and to compare the performance between two groups (Control Group-CG and Group Intervention Group-IG/experimental). Method: This was a descriptive, interventionist and comparative study, with a quantitative approach, developed at a Higher Education Institution, public in Belém, State of Pará, from March to April 2017.

A training tool for international classification of functioning, disability and health application by physical therapy students

Objective: To identify the potential contribution of an ICF-based tool in physical therapy academic training. Method: A set of ICF diagram was analyzed where students from a clinical school at a private university in Curitiba, Paraná, expressed physiotherapeutic evaluations results. Results: Body Functions and Body Structures categories were predominant. The anamnesis included categories of Activities and Participation and Environmental Factors, but they were not explored in detail by the students.

Role of methotrexate and uterine artery embolization in a case of placenta accreta

Placenta accreta occurs due to abnormally invasive implantation of placenta. Diagnosis can be made during pregnancy by ultrasound. It may cause severe postpartum hemorrahge that may even require obstetric hysterectomy. We report a case of sonographically diagnosed placenta accreta in a patient with previous 2 cesarean sections. conservative management was attempted with methotrexate and uterine artery embolization. It was not successful and patient started developing features of sepsis. She underwent abdominal hysterectomy.

An analytical study to understand payment patterns towards various utilities bills with special reference of baroda city

With the change in technology, change in the mind set, income level, consumption pattern, new facilities offered by banks and other agencies the payment methods of the people towards various activities has been changed. More over the people staying in urban area and the people who are stating in rural area they also have the different payment patterns towards different expenses like gas bill, fuel bill, electricity bill etc .
