O marco legal da inovação e o reconhecimento do direito ao desenvolvimento como direito fundamental possibilitam uma mudança na concepção das políticas públicas a serem implementadas pelo ordenamento jurídico brasileiro. O Poder Judiciário, por sua vez, através do Conselho Nacional de Justiça tem adotado medidas e projetos no sentido de impulsionar a adoção da inovação pelos tribunais, tornando esse processo contínuo nos órgãos judiciários, promovendo mudanças para que possam prestar serviços à Sociedade 5.0.

Prevalence of Diabetic Foot-Related Deformities and Associated Factors in People with Diabetes Mellitus

The objective of this study is to identify the frequency of osteoarticular deformities in the feet and their association with the risk for ulceration and reulceration in people with diabetes mellitus. This is a cross-sectional study carried out among individuals under monitoring at the State Reference Center for Diabetes Care and Endocrinology of Bahia, from November 2006 to February 2018.

Intubated Patients with acute Exacerbations of chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease: What is Common risk factor for poor patient outcome?

Background: Approximately every fourth patients with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) will require intensive care unit (ICU) admission with further mechanical ventilation (MV) and therefore with high risk for development ventilator- associated pneumonia (VAP). Aim: The study was aimed to learn risk factors predicting in-hospital mortality among patients with AE COPD associated with VAP and to evaluate the modifiable risk factors in term on improvement of patient outcomes.

A Comparative study to assess the level of Haemoglobin level among delayed cord clamping and early cord clamping newborn baby in selected Hospital at Vijayapur District

Before the mid 1950s, the term early clamping was defined as umbilical cord clamping within 1 minute of birth, and late clamping was defined as umbilical cord clamping more than 5 minutes after birth. In a series of small studies of blood volume changes after birth, it was reported that 80–100 mL of blood transfers from the placenta to the newborn in the first 3 minutes after birth and up to 90% of that blood volume transfer was achieved within the first few breaths in healthy term infants.

Prevalence, Effects and Associated Risk Factors of Burnout among Medical Students in Guyana

Objectives: To determine the rate of burnout among medical students of Guyana and to identify the causes and effects of burnout among those medical students affected. Design & Methods: This cross-sectional, quantitative study surveyed 238 medical students from all five medical schools in Guyana. The Burnout Inventory Student Survey (MBI-SS) score was used to determine the risk of burnout among the surveyed students.

Highly doped Metal Oxides substitute the Conventional Metals in Recent Plasmonic Materials

Highly doped metal oxides like Indium Tin Oxide can have metal like optical properties in the NIR frequency range. This paper aims to report the optical properties of highly doped metal oxides and its efficient use as substitute to metals in the excitation and propagation of surface plasmon polariton wave with the help of MATLAB simulations.

Marine pollution can increase the concentration of toxic metals in water and may affect fish health.The major objective of the present study was to determine the nutritional quality, condition factor and heavymetal concentration of edible fish species, fin fish Rastrelliger kanagurta(Cuvier, 1816), and shell fish Metapeneusdobsoni(Miers, 1878), collected from the Arabian Sea coast of Neendakara harbour, during the summer season (February) of 2019.

Absenteísmo no setor público: Estudo de caso de um hospital público estadual

Este estudo tem como objetivo verificar as condições geradoras de absenteísmo no Hospital Público Estadual Ômega (HPEO), a partir da percepção de servidores, tendo em vista o planejamento de ações voltadas para a qualidade dos serviços prestados e a saúde dos trabalhadores. Trata-se de estudo qualitativo com realização de entrevista semiestruturada. Adotou-se o estudo de caso único: HPEO. Os dados foram analisados por meio da técnica análise de conteúdo, modalidade categorial temática, modelo misto.

Cord blood is the blood that remains in the placenta and umbilical cord after childbirth. This blood includes many haematopoietic stem cells capable of differentiating into various cells and self-renewing. Stem cells are fundamental components of the body with the ability to regenerate various cells and generate a variety of tissues that make up different organs.

Role of local Governing Institutions in Community-based Management of Covid-19 Pandemic in Two States of South-India: Mixed Method Cross-Sectional Study

Background: COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the critical role of community engagement and local health governance inimpact mitigation and for enhanced preparedness. This study assessesthe role of elected Gram panchayat representatives (Sarpanches) and linked volunteers; and explores the enablers and barriers for community-level management of COVID-19 and uptake of vaccination in the two states of Southern India – Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Telangana state (TS).
