Introdução: Os resíduos de serviços de saúde (RSS) possuem origem heterogênea e potencial risco infeccioso contra a saúde humana e poluidor ao meio ambiente, portanto, sua segregação deve ocorrer de maneira adequada. Segundo a RDC 222/2018, os resíduos infectantes do subgrupo A4, quando devidamente segregados, podem ser encaminhados diretamente à disposição final ambientalmente adequada, sem tratamento prévio. Objetivo: Identificar as perspectivas de sustentabilidade do resíduo infectante do subgrupo A-4 à disposição final ambientalmente adequada.

Violence against women is considered to be any unreasonable act based on gender, which results in psychological, physical, sexual and patrimonial expenditures. Thus, it is intended to identify the characteristics and consequences of violence against women with disabilities in the scientific literature.

Objective: The present study evaluated the performance of cavity preparations in a group of patients, using piezoelectric associated to diamond inserts. Only posterior teeth were selected, and the restorations performed were of the Class I or II type, without cusp involvement. The aim of this study was relate the depth of cavity to patient’s sensitivity presented during preparation.

Tendo em vista a relevância de um plano assistencial na saúde, este trabalho objetivou descrever a elaboração de um plano de cuidados para uma paciente com multimorbidade guiado pela Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem (SAE) e pelo Processo de Enfermagem (PE).Trata-se de um estudo de caso realizado no período de maio a junho de 2021. Para a elaboração do plano assistencial, foram utilizadas a taxonomia II InternationalNursignDiagnosisAssociation versão 2018/2020, NursingOutcomesClassification e NursingIntervationsClassification.

This study addressed the factors that contribute to corporate entrepreneurship (CE) initiatives in a public institution in Brazil. The article is based on an in-depth qualitative study, with the unit of analysis being two managers of Fiocruz, a public institution of research and higher education. Analysis of the two cases was guided by variables that involve the profile of the corporate entrepreneurs: external and internal aspects that stimulate the emergence of the phenomenon as well as its challenges.

Introduction: Nursing professionals deal directly, and most of the time, with patients with mental disorders and thus play an essential role in front of the public through different strategies, such as encouraging spirituality in these patients. Objective: To describe the influence of spirituality encouragement in nursing care for patients with mental disorders. Methods: This integrative literature review is carried out in the LILACS, MEDLINE, and BDENF databases. The inclusion criteria were: articles being in full, in the Portuguese language; published between 2016 and 2020.

The need of care organization to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in an intensive care unit environment led to the use of a methodology to evaluate the patients seen in the specialized sector with the implementation of evolution protocols. The methodology used was the FAST HUG, also adapting it to data regarding the period of infection, serological confirmation, and treatment started, being applied by means of a specific digital platform.

This research aims to present the compost barn system, used by dairy farmers. Having as methodological guide the theoretical and practical comparison on this productive model. This system has its origin in the United States and has been gaining proportions, even timidly, all over the world, arriving with more expressiveness to Brazil recently. For this reason, we sought to measure the opinion and evaluation of the producers of the municipality of Quatro Pontes in western Paraná about this system, requesting positive and negative data.

This study aimed to discuss the Nursing Now campaign: process of operationalization of Nursing work in the face of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic. It is a theoretical reflection based on scientific literature. The pandemic highlights the importance of Nursing care for the maintenance of life and the right to health. The Nursing Now campaign calls for the appreciation of nursing professionals who are currently working on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.
