Objetivo: Analisar o discurso a partir das marcas identificadas nas falas dos enfermeiros a respeito das práticas de cuidado a homens idosos com tuberculose a partir dos atributos da Atenção Primária à Saúde. Método: Estudo qualitativo, desenvolvido com 04 enfermeiros assistenciais atuantes na Estratégia de Saúde da Família, entre os meses de maio e julho de 2018, no município de João Pessoa - Paraíba, Brasil. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista semiestruturada e analisados de acordo com os preceitos da Análise de Discurso, linha francesa.

Introduction: It is of key importance to assess medication use in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Quality of life should also be investigated, as it may be affected by the required therapeutic strategies. Objective: Assessing medication use and quality of life in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients using vildagliptin. Materials and methods: It is a longitudinal, prospective and intervention study. Sociodemographic, clinical, and other three tools were collected. Two for quality-of-life assessment and one for medication use assessment.

Introduction: Society evolves daily, as do companies, markets, and forms of consumption. Companies and people are tasked with creating relevant solutions (innovations) centered on the needs of human beings. A crucial aspect of Design Thinking is that its focus should be on people, that is, a solution that can solve a people problem or be able to create a new experience for people. Objective: To present the principles of DT for use in healthcare innovation.

Objective: Use the principles of Design Thinking (DT) to create a training model in Microsurgery. Methods: DT was used to develop prototypes and to validate the concepts and functionality of the device for training in microsurgical techniques. Based on the three main pillars of DT: Empathy, Collaboration and Experimentation; the creation of the training device prototype was built on 4 phases: Discover, Define, Develop and Deliver.

Introduction: The pandemic caused by COVID-19 affects millions of people in the worldwide and extensive testing makes it possible to intensify the physical isolation of infected people and to know the evolution of the virus transmission in the community. The objective of this research is to present the proportion of people with SARS-CoV-2 infection. Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted in 14 municipalities in the pioneer north of Paraná, from June 11 to August 11, 2020. The sample consisted of 609 adult people.

The Talisia esculenta (Cambess.) Radlk., Family Sapindaceae, is native to the Amazon, widely distributed in the Northeast of Brazil, where it has significant economic and ecological potential. However, there are no storage technologies for prolonged periods of its seeds. This study aimed to evaluate the physiological quality of stored seeds of Talisia esculenta submitted to different drying periods. The seeds were dried for 0, 6, 12, 18, and 24 hours and stored in the refrigerator for up to 60 days.

The maintenance and success of long-term implants in patients with previous periodontal disease can be complex and depend on several factors. This study present the cases of two non-smoking periodontal patients, with periodical systemic health and average age of 40 years, treated and indicated for dental implants. The classification of periodontal disease in both patients was generalized aggressive periodontitis. After the treatment through basic periodontal therapy and an adequate periodic maintenance of five years, implants were indicated in the regions of tooth loss.

(Doi.org/101016/j.oret.2020.09.019), which assessed the 10-year outcomes in 293 neovascular age-related macular degeneration eyes treated with vascular endothelial growth factor agents.

Introduction: Cancer is an important worldly health problem and it represents one of the most relevant morbi and mortality causes. It designates the second main cause of death in developing countries and the first in economically underdeveloped countries. Objective: Describe the experiences of an undergraduate of Nursing School regarding patients under palliative care in the city of Uberlandia, Minas Gerais. Methods: It is an experience report kind of study which describes the experience of a Nursing student as a carer of oncological patients in palliative care.

Objetivo: investigar por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica os efeitos da aplicação de ferramentas de estratificação de risco nos desfechos de pacientes com dor torácica aguda atendidos em unidades de urgência e emergência. Métodos: trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica integrativa mediante a coleta de artigos científicos no idioma português, inglês e espanhol referentes aos anos de 2010 a 2020, em bases de dados, tais como Scielo, Pubmed e Lilacs. Foram mantidos os aspectos éticos concernentes à plágio e cópias.
