Casos de flebite notificados em sistema de informação de um hospital universitário

Este estudo objetivou caracterizar os casos de flebite notificados em sistema de informação de um hospital universitário. Estudo quantitativo, exploratório, realizado em um hospital escola no estado de Pernambuco, Brasil. A amostra foi composta de 69 notificações de casos de flebite referentes ao período de 2014 a 2018. Os dados foram coletados no mês de março de 2019 através do software hospitalar de vigilância à saúde. Abordaram-se variáveis sociodemográficas e clínicas do paciente, relacionadas ao incidente de flebite e informações do notificador.

Research instrument on the knowledge of health professionals about patient safety in a public hospital in tocantins

Introduction: Patient safety can directly affect the quality of care provided and, although undesirable, incidents can configure opportunities for improvement, as it indicates a process that needs changes, with a focus on the performance of health teams. Objective: To develop an investigation instrument to identify the knowledge of health professionals about the occurrence of incidents related to patient safety. Materials and Methods: This is an exploratory, cross-sectional, descriptive design with a qualitative approach.

Padrões funcionais de saúde em adultos com covid-19 na terapia intensiva: Fundamentando diagnósticos de enfermagem

Objetivo: identificar os principais diagnósticos de enfermagem em pacientes adultos confirmados com o novocorona vírus internados em unidades de terapia intensiva. Método: É uma pesquisa qualitativa da literatura à luz da teoria de Padrões funcionais de saúde.

Characterization of traffic accidents with victims assisted by the mobile emergency care service (samu)

Objective: To characterize traffic accidents involving victims assisted by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU, in its Portuguese initials). Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional, quantitative study, using data from 1,318 records of SAMU occurrences with trauma victims due to traffic accidents attended between 2014 and 2016. Results: There was a high prevalence of traffic accidents (56.2%), with motorcycles being the most commonly recorded (86.0%). The percentage of multiple traumas was 48.0%.

The process of adaptation of maternity / fatherhood in the care of children with special needs

This study is guided by the following question: How is the process of adapting parents to care for children with special needs? In order to answer this question, we aim to: describe and analyze the adaptation process of parents in relation to the care of children with special needs, and it is justified by the importance of the possibility of raising discussions and improvements in care proposals for the population of research study. This is a qualitative case study.

Home visit and the construction of the medical student's ethical principles

The medical course of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo transitioned from the learning in the essentially hospital model to inserting the student in the Primary Health Care. In this process, the home visit was a fundamental instrument for the teaching-learning. The objective was to analyze the contribution of home visit to the medical student's ethical training. The study carried out through interviews with 29 students (first to sixth year) about their experience with home visit.

Sewage-based epidemiology and covid-19 in Brazil: a necessary discussion

The study aimed to gather evidence about the occurrence of SARS-CoV-2 in feces and sanitary sewage, in addition to discussing the potential ities of sewage-based epidemiology in the face of the current pandemic. A literature review was carried out in the first week of May 2020 at the Web of Science, SciELO, Scopus, CAPES Publications Portal. Few studies have reported the presence of genetic traits of SARS-CoV-2 in feces and sewers so far. However, the analyses direct the epidemiology of sewage to be considered in the discussions for surveillance of COVID-19, given the expansion of cases.

Mães que amamentam e cumprem jornada de trabalho: revisão integrativa

Objetivo: Identificar o conhecimento produzido e publicado quanto às dificuldades relacionadas ao trabalho enfrentadas por mães que amamentam e cumprem jornada de trabalho no Brasil. Método: Revisão integrativa realizada entre setembro e outubro de 2017, nas bases de dados PUBMED, LILACS e SCIELO. Resultados: Foram analisadas 21 produções, agrupadas em categorias com enfoque nas principais dificuldades enfrentadas pelas mães ao amamentar e cumprir jornada de trabalho.

Qualidade de vida do paciente transplantado renal: revisão integrativa da literatura

A Doença Renal Crônica é caracterizada pela perda progressiva da função renal, gerando alterações na homeostase do organismo do portador desta doença, além de alterações psicossociais que consequentemente afetam a qualidade de vida (QV). O objetivo do estudo foi identificar na literatura brasileira estudos que avaliaram a qualidade de vida em pacientes transplantados renais. Trata-se de uma Revisão Integrativa da Literatura, realizada nas bases de dados SciELO, MEDLINE, LILACS e BDENF.

Medicinal plants used in street markets in different regions of Brazil

In Brazil, markets and street markets emerged in 1841 as a solution for the regional supply of products. Street markets and municipal markets constitute a privileged space for traditional expressions and cultures about their ethnobotanical heritage since these places are centers of large numbers of information, underlying an environment of intense cultural exchanges. Bibliographic surveys were carried out on medicinal plants used in Street markets in different regions of Brazil.
