Introdução: O envelhecimento da população vem acompanhado do declínio fisiológico e possivelmente acompanhado de uma dependência dos idosos de outras pessoas para a realização de suas atividades básicas até as mais complexas. Estudos recentes mostram que os cuidadores destes idosos em sua maioria são familiares, mulheres, idosas, podendo ser esposas ou filhas. Por exercerem a responsabilidade de cuidar do seu familiar dependente, esses idosos cuidadores têm sua rotina e qualidade de vida afetada.

Low back pain is real problem. For many institution employees actually and there is a possibility of direct association with the sedentary lifestyle. Therefore, the physical activity practice has been fundamental to prevent the low back pain in this public. The present study aimed to identify the relation between physical activity level and low back pain in employees of a private university center from a city of Bahia. It was realized a transversal study with probabilistic sampling. The sample was composed by employees from both sex that worked in the institution more than 6 months.

In recent years, a series of sociodemographic transformations around the world have been noted, changes that have even reflected on the nutritional profile of individuals. Not only the type or class of foods that have undergone these changes, but also the way they were prepared. Previously, foods used to be taken for cooking in iron pots, which favored the migration of this mineral to food.

Objetivo: Compreender a experiência de mães de crianças com doença crônica, da descoberta do diagnóstico ao cuidado diário. Método: Estudo qualitativo, realizado em município paraibano, de novembro de 2017 a junho de 2018, por meio de entrevista semiestruturada com dez mães de crianças com doença crônica. Os dados foram interpretados pela análise temática indutiva à luz do conceito de gestão do cuidado. Resultados: As mães seguem um caminhar solitário pautado por inseguranças e dúvidas.

Objetivo: Identificar os diagnósticos de enfermagem em mulheres com Doença Hipertensiva Específica da Gravidez (DHEG), no período gravídico-puerperal hospitalizadas numa maternidade filantrópica no município de Anápolis-Go, Brasil Central. Metodologia: Estudo misto, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa,realizado num hospital filantrópico no interior de Goiás, entre os dias 1 a 30 do mês de agosto de 2019. A amostra foi composta de 13 mulheres com diagnóstico confirmado de DHEG no período gravídico-puerperal.

The α-amylase (EC 3.2.1.1) production permits the conversion of starch in products which are afterwards converted to alcohol. This study evaluated some α-amylases complex characteristics from theBradyrhizobiumsp. strain INPA R001 isolated from Amazonian soils. Enzyme essays were conducted to verify the amylolitic activity under different temperatures, exposition time, pHs, and thermal stability. The bacteria grew well and produced amylolitic halo and was thermophilic on starch medium. The enzyme complex of Bradyrhizobium was more active at 100˚C, and more active at pH 4.5.

Objetivo: descrever os mitos e desafios das práticas sexuais na terceira idade através de uma revisão integrativa. Método: Revisão integrativa de literatura que teve suas buscas nas bases de dados lilacs, medline e scielo de artigos publicados de janeiro de 2009 a dezembro de 2019, com o emprego dos descritores: Envelhecimento, Idoso, Sexualidade, Práticas Sexuais, IST. Realizou-se a sistematização dos dados pela técnica de Análise de Conteúdo. Resultados: Foram analisados oito artigos em que se descreveu os mitos e desafios das práticas sexuais enfrentadas na terceira idade.

Abdominal surgery causes pathophysiological transformations that can be characterized by recurrent episodes of post-surgical complications ranging from pulmonary complications to complications inherent to surgical incision. Pulmonary complications are the main causes of postoperative morbidity and mortality and can be minimized and/or avoided through physiotherapy.

Introduction: - The procedures for handover-takeover are usually different depending on the workplace. It is one of the important and helpful methods to transfer the information between nurses. Methodology: - descriptive design was used in this study. Data collection was done from 5527 samples from the inpatient departments. Result: - study shows that the handing over taking over checklist helps to provide complete information of the patient to other staff.

Food introduction is essential for good child growth and development as well as ensuring good feeding practices. Therefore, culturally widespread misguided habits may cause long-term damage in an infant’s growth and development, making it necessary to understand motherly vision on complementary feeding. Thus, through a transverse analytical research, both qualitative and quantitative in design, applied with 73 infant’s mothers in a referential pediatric ambulatory, it was possible to identify feeding mistakes made by parents regarding food introduction due to lack of proper information.
