The objective of the study is to describe the scientific evidence of nursing care in obstetric emergencies of adolescent mothers. Objective: to analyze the quality of life of people affected by leprosy with physical disabilities participating in self-care support groups. Methods: descriptive study, conducted with participants from self-care support groups in leprosy (n=27), in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. Structured instruments were used, containing sociodemographic, economic and clinical information, as well as scales for the evaluation of quality of life.

Drug induced gingival enlargement is the most common cause of gingival enlargement in children. The drugs which are usually implicated are Anti-epileptic drugs like Phenytoin, Sodium Valproate, Calcium Channel blockers like Nifedipine and Verapamil. Phenytoin has been used for treatment of epilepsy in children since many decades inspite of the adverse effect of Gingival enlargement. Treatment of this enlargement mainly involves removal of local irritants and most importantly replacement of the offending drug.

Objetivos: Compreender a percepção da pessoa idosa acerca das práticas integrativas e complementares à saúde e identificar as principais Práticas Integrativas e Complementares utilizadas pela pessoa idosa no cuidado a saúde. Métodos: Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, de cunho exploratório e de abordagem qualitativa, realizada em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) do município de Itapetinga, Bahia. Participaram da pesquisa doze pessoas idosas, por meio de entrevista guiada por roteiro semiestruturado, sendo os dados analisados através de entrevista guiada por roteiro semiestruturado.

Introduction: The reproductive period is considered as protective of women's health, compared to the menopausal phase that is related to an increased cardiovascular risk and metabolic diseases. Climacteric is defined by the WHO as a biological phase of the life cycle, not a pathological process, which comprises the transition between the reproductive and non-reproductive periods of women's lives, with decreased production of steroid hormones and progesterone by the ovaries, and consequent increase in pituitary gonadotropins.

A educação em saúde é uma ferramenta indispensável na consolidação da atenção primária. Desta forma, o processo de formação dos médicos em Cuba possui direcionamento às práticas educativas em comunidade, o que proporciona um olhar diferenciado na atenção à saúde. Assim, o objetivo deste estudo foi investigar como é realizada a avaliação da educação em saúde por médicos com graduação cubana. Estudo descritivo, exploratório, realizado em 10 Unidades da Estratégia Saúde da Família da zona urbana do município de Jequié-Bahia, com o total de 10 participantes.

Introduction: Elderly patients who are undergoing a hospital-home transition process in a situation of dependency and who require continued health care and family support, with a preventive, rehabilitative or palliative purpose, the family member / caregiver presents limitations in the continuity of care, reflecting directly in the integrated health actions, making treatment difficult and sometimes interrupted. Objective: To analyze the challenges faced by the family in the continuous care of elderly patients facing hospitalization and the possible impacts on quality of life.

Objective: to describe the current evidence on the clinical manifestations of gestation. Methods: it is an integrative review carried out between November and December 2015, in databases of the Virtual Health Library. Results: from the search in the databases were found 112 articles that addressed the proposed theme , In applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 100 studies were excluded because they did not address relevant concepts within the scope of the review, thus, 12 scientific articles were analyzed.

Objetivo: identificar los estudios sobre las dificultades con respecto al itinerario terapéutico de los pacientes con cáncer a la red de atención oncológica. Método: revisión integradora, datos recopilados en bases de datos electrónicas Lilacs, Medline / Pubmed, Sciello, donde se identificaron 3.400 artículos, y de los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, quedaron 3 estudios. Las publicaciones analizadas datan de 2008 a 2018 y se llevan a cabo en países desarrollados y en desarrollo.

This article presents the interest in studying about the use of hydroquinone for the treatment of melasma by patients with hyperpigmentation as a cutaneous alteration, characterizing the profile of these patients, and to verify their knowledge about the risks caused by indiscriminate use. This drug also describes the main risks of using hydroquinone without medical and pharmaceutical guidance, pointing out the importance of the pharmaceutical professional during the dispensing of hydroquinone.
