The study aims to find out factors The Internet of Things (IoT) approach - is a technology that is reconfiguring the sectors of activity, changing the definitions of how objects are connected to each other, today it is being applied in companies and industries, transforming the scenario how companies compete, changing the business models, structure and process of organizations. The following article aims to conceptualize IoT, work safety, industry 4.0 and analyze how these applications are implemented in companies in the industrial pole of Amazonas.

This paper presents partial results of a broader research in progress involving fillet joints welded with Gas Metal Arc Welding and using consumables that produce weld metals with a large difference in ultimate tensile stress and ductility (classes AWS ER70S-6 e AWS ER120S-G). Therefore, two kinds of weldments were made with one of the members in “balance” and keeping welds with their original finish.

A utilização excessiva de agrotóxicos ocasiona diversos prejuízos à saúde humana e ambiental, sendo considerada um problema de saúde pública mundial. Este estudo objetivou identificar o perfil epidemiológico dos casos de intoxicações por agrotóxicos de uso agrícola no Brasil. Trata-se de um estudo observacional quantitativo, retrospectivo e com utilização de dados secundários disponíveis online no Sistema Nacional de Informações Tóxico-Farmacológicas. Considerou-se o período de 2000 a 2016.

This paper studies the constitution and properties of lime-based mortars, collected in the Casa Amarela (Yellow House), a building of the end of the 19th century, located in Belo Horizonte (Brazil), object of this case study. An experimental study was developed to characterize the rendering mortar of this historic building, aiming to support future interventions/propositions of a recovery mortar compatible in physical, chemical and mechanical terms with the original mortar.

Este trabalho trata de um relato de experiência, ao qual visa trazer informações sobre uma atividade realizada no Ensino Médio na aula de Matemática sobre polinômios geradores. Assim, buscou-se reunir informações com o propósito de responder à seguinte questão: De que forma o estudo sobre Funções Geradoras no Ensino Médio pode proporcionar diferentes estratégias na resolução de problemas que envolvem Análise Combinatória? Elaboramos e aplicamos atividades, a fim de obter uma resposta para a questão que norteou este trabalho.

Objetivo: Discutir a enfermagem oncológica na era dos saberes plurais e do pensamento pós-abissal. Método: Estudo teórico-reflexivo, de abordagem qualitativa, com base na obra de Zygmunt Bauman, de Boaventura de Sousa Santosbem como nos saberes plurais na Oncologia. Resultados: A enfermagem enquanto profissão social cuida das pessoase encontra-se em constante busca de um cuidado com mais qualidade instituindo novastecnologias como as práticas integrativas e complementares em especial na Oncologia.

The article deals with the application of designer tools to create the visual identity of a line of creative products. The logo, typography and color palette were defined for the composition of the elements that showed the personality of the brand to its customers. A systematic method was followed in the execution of the project, starting with the application of a briefing, and then the following steps were carried out: brainstorming, definition of elements, graphic editing and testing of possibilities.

The sexuality of young people with Down syndrome is still seen with discrimination, prejudice, stigma and fear. This study aimed to identify the meanings attributed by adolescents with Down syndrome to their own sexuality. The sample consisted of 15 adolescents with Down syndrome in the age group 15-24. Data collection was based on semi-structured interviews in five non-governmental organizations, in the city of Recife, Pernambuco. The results indicated that the participants were satisfied with their body image, without any kind of restriction or inhibition.

With the growing prominence of the service sector in the global economic scenario, and with a greater demand from those who seek service providers, these companies always seek improvements both in service and in the quality of materials to remain competitive and correspond to your customers' wishes. Thus, this article seeks to identify how customers evaluate the service of this establishment of the Food Branch of the City of Manaus through a form that was adapted to collect and observe the data.

O estudo teve como objetivo avaliar o nível de atividade física em acadêmicos do curso de odontologia, com uso do instrumento The Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ, Short Form). Trata-se de um estudo transversal de base populacional, que contemplou acadêmicos de uma Universidade Pública de Manaus, Amazonas. Participaram 112 acadêmicos. O teste de associação das variáveis foi feita por meio do teste qui-quadrado de Pearson e o teste T-Student. Valores de p≤0,05 foram considerados significantes.
