Content analysis of mycology in high school biology textbooks used at the nossa senhora da conceição state college (censc) in the municipality of Miguel Calmon / Ba

The aim of this paper is to analyze the content and illustrations of fungi in high school biology textbooks used at the Nossa Senhora da Conceição State High School (CENSC) in Miguel Calmon /BA. The analysis of the three textbooks used by the high school students (1st, 2nd and 3rd years) of CENSC plus two collections, regarding the presence of the theme Fungi, having as evaluation criteria: number of pages, characterization of the fungi, importance of fungi, fungal-related images, and additional parts for teachers and students.

Prevalence of suicidal risks in undergraduate students: are we facing a public health problem?

Objective: Admission to a university is a period of significant change and exposure to stressors that may raise emotional vulnerabilities and in some cases lead to suicide risk. The aim of the present study was identify the prevalence of behaviors of suicidal rich in undergraduate students of a municipal institution of higher education. Methods: A descriptive-exploratory cross-sectional study, carried out which 300 undergraduate students in the courses of a Higher Education Institution, Catanduva, Brazil.

Hyperuricemia associated with microalbuminuria - what are the possible links?

Abstract: Goals Hyperuricemia and microalbuminuria are considered cardiovascular risk factors. The objective of this work was to determine the likely mechanisms of this association and to suggest the possibility of a relevant relationship between the two anomalies. The present work intends to investigate the motivation of the Administrative Technical Servants in Education (TAE) of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará, Itapipoca campus, aiming to detect the motivational aspects in the labor activities and their impacts on the objectives of the administration, diagnosing the motivational level at work as well as the quality of life in that researched environment.

Microbiological quality of lettuce irrigated with treated wastewater

It is necessary to search for alternative sources of water where the use of potable water is not required. The reuse of treated domestic effluent is an alternative for crop irrigation. This research was conducted using a complete randomized block design in a 3 x 3 factorial scheme with five replications, in a protected environment at the Federal University of Sergipe.

The use of assistive technology in the development of children with cerebral palsy

This article makes a comparison between two assistive technology applications developed for mobile devices, with the objective of verifying how the contributions of these assistants and the development of the child with PC. A questionnaire was prepared for the person responsible for a child with CP to perform a comparison of applications (Livox and Matraquinha) and data sources necessary for transportation.
