This paper through literature review and meta-analysis investigates carbon emission tax as a tool for emission reduction in Nigeria’s economy. To obtain robust findings, other countries experience as regards to carbon emission tax policy implementation were reviewed. Findings from the meta-analysis show thatcarbon emission tax would significantly reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption from fossil fuels.
The present study was developed with the purpose of evaluating the performance of two photovoltaic water pumping systems located at the State University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil (latitude 3.40°S, longitude 38.33°W). One of the systems has 50 Wp of nominal power and the other 100 Wp of nominal power. The results presented were based on data collected weekly in 56 days, scattered in the months of April/2018, August/2018 and September/2018.
Objetivo: descrever o conhecimento de mulheres no último trimestre de gestação acerca das emergências obstétricas. Métodos: A pesquisa trata-se de um estudo descritivo, exploratório, de abordagem qualitativa que foi realizada com gestantes em acompanhamento pré-natal de uma unidade de atenção primária. Como instrumento de coleta de dados foi utilizado uma entrevista semiestruturada, elaborado pelos pesquisadores. O estudo foi aprovado pelo comitê de ética e pesquisa da Universidade Regional do Cariri. Os dados coletados foram categorizados de acordo com a análise de conteúdo temática.
The rapid increase of radiopharmaceutical units in Brazil after the monopoly flexibilization in 2006, together with the requirements of the National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN) and the National Agency of Sanitary Surveillance (ANVISA), have raised the need for a proposal of Design (DQ) and Installation (IQ) Qualification for Cyclotrons by applicable national standards, manufacturer’s guide and international literature recommendations.
Avaliar o nível de pressão sonora encontrado no ambiente de trabalho de profissionais de Educação Física que atuam em academias e investigar os efeitos sobre a saúde advindos dessa exposição. Estudo transversal realizado com 30 profissionais de Educação Física que trabalhavam em 8 academias na cidade de Guarapuava – PR. O nível de pressão sonora equivalente (Leq, em dB(A)) foi medido em conformidade com a norma internacional para avaliação de ruído ocupacional ISO 9612.
Heat exchangers are widely used in industries for the use of thermal energy generated from different processes. For a definite use of this energy, the temperatures of the hot and cold fluids passing through the heat exchanger must be monitored and controlled efficiently. A suitable model of the heat exchanger is required for monitoring and control purposes. The objective of this work is to mathematically model a heat exchanger using a system identification method using a computational tool.
This study sought to evaluate the impact of the biofuels programme in the availability of closing water of the ecosystem, named Cerrado. Currently, the water resources of the cerrado, in the dry season, already suffering from an imbalance because of the evapotranspiration in the region do not precipitate in the same place, as the movement atmospheric studies presented by National Institute of Meteorology. The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact that the programme of biofuels can cause water availability in the cerrado, in the Midwest region of Brazil.

Belozo and Lopes (2017) calls attention to the fact that during a game and even a training session the athletes will perform several actions of acceleration and deceleration.
Objetivou-se identificar e analisar as concepções de Autolesão Não Suicida (ALNS) por adolescentes que se autolesionam. Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa, com coleta de dados por meio de entrevistas individuais utilizando Desenho-Estória com Tema, com oito adolescentes que referiram autolesão de uma escola de um município do interior de São Paulo, Brasil. Os dados foram analisados pela análise temática; o referencial teórico foi a teoria psicanalítica winnicottiana. Identificaram-se duas categorias: “Você descarrega seu peso ali”;“Fui fazendo cada vez mais”.
