This work aimed at the development of an advantageous mathematical model to meet the needs of the activity of creating schedules of work in the public health sector, helping both the elaboration of the work schedule itself and the management of professional staff by the compilation of managerial information that help in the decision making of the manager, greatly reducing the difficulty in administration, given the large number of variables that affect health services.

The South Paraiba Valley Consortium (CODIVAP) in a charge of water resources management of southeast region and São José dos Campos (SP/Brazil) Municipal Master Plan provoked socio-environmental effects that analyzed in this paper. Social and environmental indicators were developed in order to monitor CODIVAP actions for both in the context of water resources in the consortium sphere and in the productive inputs of Micro and Small Business (MSB).

Objective: To analyze the scientific production available in the literature on obstetric violence in Brazil, identifying and discussing its main characteristics in the daily care of the pregnant and puerperal cycle. Method: Integrative literature review, carried out in the databases: SciELO, LILACS and BDENF. Six full articles published between 2015 and 2019 were selected. To systematize the articles selected in the search, an instrument validated by Ursi was defined. Results: Eight studies that met the previously defined inclusion and exclusion criteria were analyzed.

The present research aims, in a general way, to understand, from the reports of elementary school students, the conceptual understanding of medicinal plants through the study of Ethnobotany; specifically, it seeks a cognitive conceptual diagnosis on the already existing popular knowledge of the research subjects in relation to medicinal plants, highlighting the importance of cultural heritage and indigenous and afrodescendant ancestry. Methodologically the study is based on a qualitative approach with a descriptive-exploratory character.

The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of the Plan of Intensification of Malaria Control Actions (PIACM) on the annual incidence of Malaria in the Legal Amazon and in the respective States that belong to this region. This is an epidemiological and ecological study, based on secondary data about the epidemiological situation of Malaria in the Legal Amazon recorded in data series from 1981 to 2015. It was elaborated an intervention analysis model based in temporal series, which established the average of the Annual Parasite Index (API) occurrences before and after the intervention.

The purpose of this study is to understand the significance of the motorcycle accident and its consequences on the victim's perception. This is a qualitative study developed at the University Hospital of the Federal University of the São Francisco Valley, which is located in the municipality of Petrolina, Pernambuco. The study sample consisted of seven participants who were victims of a motorcycle accident, from January 2016 to January 2017.

O surgimento de doenças e a ausência de papel social na velhice pode exigir do idoso um processo de adaptação, de superação e aceitação, fenômeno denominado de resiliência. Este estudo objetivou conhecer a percepção de mulheres idosas sobre a importância da atividade física em suas vidas e seus níveis de resiliência. Estudo exploratório-descritivo de abordagem qualitativa realizada no Núcleo da Terceira Idade, com amostra de 115 mulheres ativas avaliadas a partir de questionário e escala de resiliência de Wagnild e Young (1993).

Atualmente a Gestão do Conhecimento tem colaborado na melhoria do desempenho das Organizações. Nesta linha a gestão dos cursos superiores tem procurado implementar prática de Gestão do Conhecimento nas suas atividades.

The study presents evidence of how the Nigeria’s Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) had designed and implemented peacebuilding and conflict prevention strategies in the country’s conflict dynamics since 2000. This is important because Nigeria is notorious for violence and its adverse effects have claimed several lives, displaced millions from their homes and livelihoods.
