According to the opinion of the leading experts in the field of Cyber Security over the last few years there has been a transition from the stage of Cyber Criminality to the stage of Cyber War. In order to respond adequately to the new challenges, the expert community has two main approaches: to adopt the philosophy and methods of Military Intelligence, and to use Artificial Intelligence methods for counteraction of Cyber Attacks.

Entrepreneurship can be defined as an activity that involves discovery, evaluation and exploration of opportunities to create new goods, services, markets and processes through the efforts of individuals or organizations that did not previously exist. Entrepreneurship is one of the solutions for unemployment in times of economic crisis. This paper investigates the influence of unemployment in Brazilian entrepreneurship between 2012 and 2018.

Effect of mounting fits on the performance of rolling bearings (analytical study)

Rolling bearings are considered as the inspection monitor for the performance of machines. There are many parameters affecting the performance of this type of bearings, including type of rolling bearings, applied loads (radial or axial), type of lubricating medium, type of mounting fits between the bearing and its shaft (and housing) and the temperature of the environment. The study of this paper has focused on investigating the effect of mounting fits on bearing performance.

Background: Is there a lack of data on the predictive capacity of the formula proposed by Melão Juniorin the diagnosis of excess body fat in Brazilian adolescents. Aim: To evaluate the performance of the formula proposed by Melão Juniorin the prediction of high body fat in adolescents. Subjects and methods: This is a cross-sectional study with a sample of 507 students, aged 10–19 years, from public schools.

Peri-implantite from the use of bisphosphates: a review

Nowadays, it is increasingly common to have dental implants rehabilitated, which has the function of playing the same role as the root of a lost tooth, returning a more aesthetic and reliable smile to the patient. It is a piece of biocompatible titanium that will be attached to the bone to replace one or more teeth. When evaluating a patient who will be submitted to the placement of implants, we must take into account the systemic health, hygiene and some medications used by it, especially the bisphosphonates (BP).

Association between temporomandibular disorder and low back pain in undergraduate students from Brazil

Objective: To verify the prevalence and association between temporomandibular disorder and low back pain in undergraduate students from Brazil. Methods:Analyptical cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, carried out on 600 undergraduate students from the University Center of Sciences and Technology of Maranhão, in the city of Caxias. The Fonseca Anamnestic Index was used to assess the prevalence of temporomandibular disorderand the Brazil’s Economic Classification Criterion to characterize the economic class of the students.

Socioeconomic profile, operation, commercialization and income: a case study of the paa in the city of caxias-maranhão

The work had as a maing goal approaching the economic and social aspects of the Programa Aquisição de Alimentos – PAA (Food Acquisition Program) in the “Cocais” region in the State of Maranhãowith enphasis in the city of Caxias. As specific objectives, an analysis of the socioeconomic profile of the families benefited with the PAA was done, then identifying who are the supplier beneficiaries of the program; the operation of the purchase process and the commercialization channels have also been verified. The research tool used was a case study.

Tendo este trabalho como objetivo avaliar o fator de proteção solar (FPS) e a atividade antioxidante do extrato etanólico bruto de Praxelisclematidea, através do teste in vitro.

Prazo médio de processos no segundo grau de jurisdição: um estudo baseado em mineração de dados em uma organização jurídica

This paper presents a data mining study based on the process time average in the second instance in a Brazilian law organization. First, a review of knowledge discovery in databases and data mining concepts was performed, and after, some data mining techniques were applied on a database with 51,052 records relating to pending processes in the second instance. The obtained results covered a discretization of the amount of time in which the processes were pending, in which internal areas the process was, as well as the procedural class that defined it.

Access issues: transportation challenges and healthcare delivery in rural settings

The aim of the work in this paper is to present the results from a study of how the quality of life in remote locations and rural settings of Bayelsa State, Nigeria can be enhanced through improvement in healthcare accessibility. The methodology comprised desktop study, questionnaire survey, participant observations and interviews. A survey comprising 2,000 distributed questionnaires was conducted between July 2016 and July 2017 within seven selected states in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. A total of 1,800 questionnaires were completed and returned.
