Differences between software and web based systems development

It has been found that the conventional software engineering models such as for example Waterfall model, Prototyping, Incremental, Spiral, Rational Unified process (RUP) and Extreme programming (XP) cannot be used directly or not applicable for the development of web based systems (Kumar and Sangwan 2011). This is because Web applications have unique characteristics that make Web development different and more difficult than traditional software development. In this paper, the reasons of why software development methodologies failed in developing web based systems will be shown.

Electro-coagulation [EC] process to treat basic dye

In 21st century the world is facing the critical issue of waste water management, textile industry are the top most red industries in the world. Industrial processes create a variety of wastewater pollutants, highly turbid which are difficult and expensive to treat. In this paper (basic dye) camel ink is treated by using electro-coagulation process. Experiment is carried out by using batch mode reactor in a laboratory using aluminum electrodes. UV Spectrophotometer is used to carry absorbance. Experiment is carried out by using aeration with electro coagulation.

Product development through cfd simulation and experimental testing of a 200 liter biomass fired institutional cook stove

In this work, complete analysis of 200 liter institutional cook stove, design, simulation and field test was carried out. In developing country, including Ethiopia, biomass is the major energy source especially, for cooking and heating purpose from single family to institutional level. In this back drop, this project will focus on 200 liter size of biomass fired institutional cook stove that incorporates secondary air for complete combustion. Materials were selected for each component of the stove according to their temperature resistance required.

The design and production of network propaganda animation based on html5

With the rapid development of network, more and more desktop applications to web platform and traditional animation techniques based on Web platform is first draw good pictures on the server side, then the pictures sent to the browser, using flash or other third party plug-in display. This operation is not only a waste of resources, but also increases the complexity of system, so more art creators hope computer technology development to a more convenient production animation such as the web service function realization is simple, efficient, interactive animation effect.

On the relationship between elzaki transform and new integral transform "zz transform"

In this paper we discusses some relationship between Elzaki transform and the newintegral transform called ZZ transform, we solve first and second order ordinarydifferential equations with constant and non-constant coefficients, using both transforms, and showing ZZ transform is closely connected with Elzaki transform.

System for product label reading to assist the blind persons

It is very difficult for blind persons to do their daily work by their own. This paper propose a system to help blind persons read text labels and product packaging of hand held objects in their daily life. This system consists of camera for grabbing the image, processor for processing the grabbed image and headset for audio output. Blind user will only have to show objects in front of the camera and capture an image. The camera will grab the image.

Combine aboodh transform and homotopy perturbation method for solving linear and nonlinear schrodinger equations

In this article, the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) and Aboodh transform are introduced for obtaining the approximate analytical solution of the Linear and Nonlinear Schrodinger Equations. The proposed method is an elegant combination of the new integral transform “Aboodh Transform” and the homotopy perturbation method.

Barriers to physical activity practice perceived by Patients Oncologics

Identify barriers to physical activity in patients with cancer of the Friends Association in the Fight Against Cancer - ANLUC in the city of Caxias - MA. This is a descriptive quantitative study with 25 patients of both sexes, aged 21 and 65 who responded to questionnaires Activity Habitual Physical and Barriers to Physical Activity Practice, after collecting the data transferred to SPSS version 20 program and was conducted descriptive statistical analysis.

The profile of liquid film’s flow on the surface roughness in vertically rotating disc contactor

The Profile of liquid film on the surface of contact media with the different surface roughness  provided the different kinds of flow profiles. The existence of the surface roughness in the nano scale, might cause the reduction of physicochemical resistant factor which potentially prevented the liquid film to adhere and dragged out to the surface of contact media. However, varying the kind of material used as the disk material was related to the characteristics solidity of surface roughness.
