Performance analysis of high bypass ratio turbofan aeroengine

The turbofan engine had many developments in the past 60 years and becomes the common power plant employed in both civil airliners and military aircrafts. It combines the advantages of both of turboprop engines (high propulsive efficiency and thrust) and turbojet engines (high flight speed and altitude). To cope with the needs of high thrust forces that propel wide body airliner and increase of their payload and range as well as enlarging mauver capabilities of military aircrafts, successive developments of turbofan engines are needed.

Study of influence of stressed corrosive environment on the austenitic stainless steel

In this reviewed research paper the combined influence of stress and corrosive environment on the austenitic stainless steel has been discussed. Growth of cracks in corrosive environments has been studied. Corrosion is a process created by the reaction (chemical or electrochemical) between a material, often a metal or alloy, and its environment that results in destruction or deterioration of that material. Corrosion has been classified in many different ways. One method classifies corrosion into low and high temperature corrosion.

Green building construction from company perspective in gwalior region

Now a day a construction industry growing on a large scale methods and quality of work, improved but due to increase in the construction the land space for living were made available by deforestation which result in Green House Gas (GHG) Emissions which in turn increasing carbon footprints in nature which is very dangerous for environment.

To study delays in completion of residential project

Delays to projects is one of the most important concerns of the construction industry. The delays to the projects affect the economies throughout the world. Delay to projects means the slowdown of development in all other related fields. Identifying whether the delay is critical or not helps in taking appropriate decisions at the correct time. Delays may be non excusable which are contractor caused for which the client and the consultants should have project management tools to effectively manage the delays, client caused delays are the delays due to the client.

Swacha bharat abhiyan mission

Pratha Samajik Sanstha marked the celebration of Children’s Day and World Toilet Day by carrying out a community sensitization and awareness programme on cleanliness, sanitation, health and hygiene across the slums of Ramabai Nagar, Kamraj Nagar, Nalanda-RTO and Netaji Nagar in collaboration with Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (Municipal Sewage Disposal Project, Slum Sanitation Programme and Solid Waste Management Programme), Balpraffulata and eleven local CBO’s of the area.

Nature inspired metaheuristic algorithms-a comparative review

Many metaheuristic algorithms are used for solving different optimization problems efficiently. From these metaheuristic algorithms, nature-inspired optimization algorithms are widely used to find better solutions and their best results. In this paper, five types of metaheuristic algorithms such as Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, Bee colony optimization (BCO) algorithm, Bat algorithm (BA), Cuckoo search (CS), Firefly algorithms (FA) were used as the basis for comparison. Particle swarm optimization algorithm is based on the interactions between social insect, swarms.

Experimental investigation of new additive to optimize the properties of synthetic-based drilling fluid

This research focus on the formulation, development and testing a new additive in synthetic based drilling fluid include of amine-treated Quebracho agent . Traditionally invert emulsion drilling fluids have been formulated to achieve optimum performance of drilling operation because of the high level of wellbore stability and penetration rates by these drilling fluids. Amine-treated Quebracho agent is compatible with other chemical additives in Synthetic-Based Fluids.

A comparison of artificial neural network and decision tree for profitability in technology sector

Profitability is always amain consideration for businesses. Business and academicians have researched in order to determine the factors affecting profitability due to the importance of this issue. In this study, return on assets is modeled and compared with two different methods. Artificial Neural Network and Decision Tree are established with financial Statements of technology sector on BIST (Borsa Istanbul). The two models were evaluated in the study. Their strengths relative to each other were determined.

Life cycle exergy analysis on wind farm in Ethiopia

Aim of the study is Life Cycle Exergy Analysis (LCExA) is as indicator of sustainability measure for wind farm found in Ethiopia. The method employed contains three phases: Identification of goal and scope of the study, life cycle inventory of the system and calculation of Exergy of in and out of the materials and energy flow into the system.  ExROI of the wind farm varies between 18 and 22 depending on the different scenarios taken in the system. The material Exergy of the wind farm contributes 22% from total Exergy of the system which has no share in ordinary life cycle analysis.

Design and material analysis of belt shifter assembly for enhancing the belt life with legato movement of over head travelling cleaner

The OHTC (Over Head Travelling Cleaner) is a textile cleaning unit which is used in all textile frames such as spinning, speed frame, weaving, roving, winding etc. The main function of the OHTC unit is used to clean the cotton waste, bluffs and prevents them entering into the frames of the machines to produce fine threads for different application purpose. The Belt Shifter assembly is considered as the heart of OHTC unit, which is used to shift the belt frequently for to and fro motion of the unit. Polyurethane is the material used in Belt shifter unit.
