Field ion microscopy the modification of the atomic structure of the materials after strong external exposures

The paper presents the application of direct methods (field ion microscopy and atom probe techniques) to study the modification of the crystal structure of various materials at atomic spatial level after strong external exposures. On the original results shows the possibility of three- dimensional reconstruction of the elemental composition of the materials studied with atomic resolution to study the modification of the atomic structure.

Image inpainting using super resolution

Image inpainting is the process in which damaged images and unwanted objects are removed based on information gathered from surrounding areas. Different methods has been introduced regarding image inpainting i.e. Diffusion, exemplar-based inpainting etc. Different algorithms are present today but more efficient algorithms are required. In this paper, using exemplarbased method and Super-Resolution method inpainting is explained with result and Analysis.

Modeling and prediction of mrr and surface roughness in turning operations using factorial method and regression method

This paper presents the findings of an experimental analysis into the effects of feed rate, cutting speed, depth of cut, and cutting environment in turning operation of Low alloy steel (En-353). Design of experiment technique, i.e. factorial method have been used to accomplish the objective of the experimental study. 23 factorial design with eight treatment combination used for conducting the experiments. It was observed that the feed rate and depth of cut was the most influential factors on the MRR and surface roughness.

Design of an over head plate gantry girder

This project deals with the planning, designing, and estimation of the industrial PLATE GANTRY GIRDER, located near Thuvakkudi, Trichy district. Overhead plate girder is subjected to various types of load. Girder is the critical assembly component of overhead crane. Currently research is being carried out to improve the strength structure of overhead crane girder. These new efforts help to overcome overhead crane girder failure.

Enhancing the gsm voice capacity using orthogonal sub channel (osc) technique in downlink transmission

This paper presents a study of the voice services usage over Adaptive Multi-user channels on One Slot (VAMOS) for improving the voice capacity. VAMOS is an extension of the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) standard to enable the transmission of two GSM voice streams on the same radio resource using Orthogonal Sub Channel (OSC) technique for doubling the number of users served by one cell. The concept of VAMOS is based on multiplexing two or more users at one time slot. Therefore, it is a subject for this paper to consider the downlink transmission of GSM VAMOS systems.

Effects of electromagnetic & radio frequency on human body

This paper deliberates the effects of Electromagnetic in human beings and heat (energy) in a biological or non-biological system is frequency and also discussed on the exposure of microwaves from cellular networks. While it is not certain that RF radiation generally poses any risks to human health, some reasons exist for being concerned about human health effects from the cellular phones themselves.

Spectrophotometric determination of an antidiabetic drug glimepiride bulk and pharmaceutical formulations

A new, simple, precise, sensitive, accurate, and reproducible spectrophotometric method have been developed for the determination of Glimepiride in pure and dosage forms. Method is based on oxidation of the drug with 1,10 phenanthroline producing orange colored chromogen which is measured at 470 nm. Beer’s law is obeyed in the concentration range of  0.8-8.0 µg/mL for the developed method. The molar absorptivity and Sandell's Sensitivity are found to be9199.14 L mol-1cm-1and 0.053 µg/cm2 respectively.

Microwave assisted synthesis, spectral characterization and biological activities of zn(ii) complex with n,n -donor and octanoate ion as ligands

A novel Zn(II) complex of 2-aminobenzonitrile(ABN)  and   octanoate(OC)  ion was synthesized by using microwave irradiation. Microwave synthesis gives high yield of the complex within a short time. The molecular formula and the probable geometry of the complex have been deduced from elemental analysis, molar conductance, UV, FT-IR, and NMR spectra. The molar conductance indicates that the Zn(II) complex is a non-electrolyte. FT-IR spectra show that 2-aminobenzonitrile is coordinated to the metal ion in a bidentate(N,N-donor) and octanoate ion in monodentate manner.

Synthesis , characterisation and antibacterial studies of anionic chelate complexes of manganese (ii) with various schiff’s base ligands

In the present study, four anionic Mn(II) complexes of various Schiff’s bases such as Salicylaldehyde ethylenediamine (Sal2en), Salicylaldehyde Orthoaminophenol (Sal OAP),Salicylaldehyde Semicarbazone (Sal Sc) and salicylaldehyde o-phenylene diamine (Sal2phen) along with NH4SCN ligand were synthesised.

Automatic humidity monitoring and pumping system for farmers

The main aim of Automatic Humidity Monitoring and Pumping System for Farmers project is to monitor and record values of humidity of natural environment and to pump the plants water at required humidity level in order to achieve maximum plant growth and yield. This paper main intention is to develop a application where it can collect data about soil conditions with a low cost equipment and less labour involved. It can also possible with the help of a drip irrigation system, through solar power, using vocal commands through the mobile phone and wireless sensor network.
