This article presents the essential elements on the foundations and evolution of the crisis of the petroleum products commerce in Benin. After having tried without success to stop such commerce, the State has passed to the extreme during the years 2012 and 2013, putting the contribution in this struggle, soldiers, policemen and other. Then, the sellers of contraband petroleum products are henceforth more distrustful than ever with a big hostility to all kind of investigating about them.

Job satisfaction and job autonomy of extension personnel of the public agricultural extension organization in Tripura state of North-East India

Progress of any organization greatly depends on job satisfaction and job autonomy of the employees in the organization. Job satisfaction and job autonomy are the two important indicators of a successful organization. The study was conducted in all four districts of Tripura state of North-East India and from all districts the extension personnel were selected randomly. As per the objective of the study, the information was collected using structured interview schedule.

Spatial-temporal change in infant mortality and its determinants in Bihar, India

It is well known that Bihar is one of the demographic backward state having relatively high rates of poverty and malnutrition, and this has been suggested as the reason for the high fertility and infant mortality observed across the district. However, the study attempt to examine spatial-temporal change in infant mortality and its determinants in Bihar. The district level estimates of IMR manifests that all districts have still high infant mortality. The infant mortality is higher in rural areas than that of urban areas over the period.

Channels of communication and accountability in the digital age

For legislators, the digital age creates two major changes. On one hand, they can now connect directly with their voters without mediators such as TV or newspapers, but on the other hand, their actions become increasingly transparent. Are legislators adjusting to the new era? What does the public think? Most importantly, does the transparency that the digital era facilitates affect the accountability of legislators? Using questionnaires, we asked both Israeli voters and legislators about their perceptions regarding channels of communication and accountability.

Western ghats protection and sustainable development - Challenges ahead

Background: Western Ghats is a mountain range and a UNESCO world heritage site. The Western Ghats is one of the world’s eight hottest biodiversity hotspots. The area is ecologically sensitive to development and was declared an ecological hotspot in 1988. The Government of India has taken several initiatives to protect and save the ecology of the region. The government appointed the Western Ghats Ecology Expert Panel headed by Madhav Gadgil to assess the biodiversity and environmental issues of the Western Ghats in 2010.

As the purpose of present paper, power alternate means periodical rotation or transfer of power from state to citizens so that they can enjoy the right of removing or assigning the administration through public elections in order to achieve their citizenship goals and share in the route of overcoming the risks emanating from the domination of one group upon majority of the society. On this basis, alternate orientation is a guideline which can yield into public power rotation.

Two research questions and two null hypotheses guided the study. A descriptive survey research design was used for the study. The population for the study was fifty four sports administrators and three sports co-ordinators in Udi Education Zone. All the fifty seven (57) subjects were used for the study. A close ended questionnaire was used for data collection.
