That the Global North has been on a mission to develop the Global South in its own image is a narrative conveyed to students in Development Economics. Integral to this narrative is the sub-narrative that the absence ofEuropean institutionsin the Global South has militated against itslong term development. This paper draws on the very many dissident voices busting these narratives and points to how seeking wellbeing and sustainability in development requires dropping development economics and embracing socialecological economics.

There is an uninterrupted rise in digital payments transactions in India over the past few years which has been backed by advanced digital infrastructure and client’s participation in performing banking transactions with a click of a mouse and fingertips. Digitization of payments made financial transactions accessible to customers 24/7 crossing borders. Demonetization and the Covid pandemic are the two prime causes for the increase in the usage of digital payment systems in India. The increase in Digital payments is driven by increased usage of the internet and mobile phones.

The threats to students’ access to quality education are even more significant due to political changes and policy shifts (influenced by potential cutback in public education funding and in the form of real implementation of education reforms). When there are cuts in the funding, overcrowded classrooms, less access to educational resources, and less personalized opportunity to learn becomes the exact face faced by students from disadvantaged background.

This study explores the relationships among environmental concern (ENVCO), perceived product quality (PPQU), price sensitivity (PRSEN), and consumer green agricultural products purchase intentions (GAPPI). A total of 350 valid responses were collected and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The empirical results reveal that ENVCO, PPQU, and PRSEN each have a significant positive impact on GAPPI.
