A simple and effective factorization procedure to determine total positivity of a matrix

A factorization procedure for a given totally positive (TP) matrix- a matrix with all positive minors - is introduced. The strategy is to reduce a column to corresponding column of the identity matrix. Factors so obtained are triangular matrices with constant row or column entries. Such matrices and their inverses with simple structures can be constructed using the entries of a given non-zero vector without any computations among the entries.

The aim is to design a holistic framework that yields both immediate and long-term returns.

Use of quantum cryptography in commercial application

Quantum cryptography is unconditional secure communication by using the phenomena of Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, no-cloning theorem of photon of quantum mechanics. Further, conventional cryptography susceptible at present computer computation but processing speed grow more rapidly and quantum computer abruptly launch then classical cryptography not so useful, it is easily breakable with the help of quantum computers.

Plasmid mediated multidrug resistant salmonella enterica serovar typhi isolated from in and around Chennai, Tamilnadu - India

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the transfer of resistant markers through conjugation and transformation evaluation of transconjugate strains for stability of R – plasmid against different conditions like several passages and storage in different temperatures for different time period. Around 2423 clinical samples collected from hospitals and health centers in and around chennai, and 105 isolates confirmed for Salmonella enteric serovar typhi based on preliminary, biochemical and cultural characteristics.

Deriving insight and intuition from business data: Review by example

‘Insight’ combines several ideas. It includes ‘classic’ areas, such as knowing who consumers are, what they do, where they are, what they buy, what they would like to buy, what media they are exposed to and what media they choose to view, listen to or read. It also includes more psychological areas – what consumers think and feel, what their objectives and strategies are, and how these influence the way they behave. The list of attributes to examine is long and it should remain in the hands of the researcher or data analyst which variables are retained in the model and which are excluded.
