Users’ satisfaction study of academic buildings in yaba college of technology, Yaba Lagos, Nigeria

The paper assesses the level of satisfaction derived by the users of academic buildings in Yaba College of technology. The research which is largely field based had questionnaires randomly administered on a total of 290 respondents in a total of nine buildings that were equally randomly selected. Data solicited include respondent’s data and level of satisfaction derived by them from using the building in question using the five scale likert scale method.

Performance study and thermal profile characterization of low temperature viscosity bath in different temperature ranges

A new Viscosity bath has been entered the services in Thermal Metrology Laboratory-National Institute for Standards, NIS-Egypt in order to use in maintain and extend the national viscosity scale in wide temperature ranges, international comparison and routine calibration of viscometers. The medium of the bath should be homogenous enough in temperature so many thermal factors taken into account to estimate the temperature gradient, homogeneity, stability and thermal profile distribution with the  related uncertainty to each parameter.

Dilatometric study to estimate thermo dynamical parameters of two CBOnO.m liquid crystalline compounds

The specially designed pykanometre and dilatometer is used to measure the temperature variation of density of two liquid crystalline CBOnO.m compounds namely

1. α-(4-cyanobiphenyl-4 heptyloxy)-ω-4-n-alkylanilinebenzylidene-4oxy)decane (C1)
2. α-(4-cyanobiphenyl-4 decyloxy)-ω-4-n-alkylanilinebenzylidene-4oxy)decane (C2)

Synthesis of dispersed nano zero valente iron with different stabilizers using K-Mreactor

This study, Nano Zero Valente Iron (NZVI) was produced with different stabilizers (Sodiumcarboxymethylcellulose, CMC, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, PVP, Hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide, CTAB using kinetic energy micro reactor (K-M reactor). There action between Ferric chloride (FeCl3.6H2O) with different stabilizers and Sodium borohydriede (NaBH4) as reducing agent at K-M reactor gives many advantages in comparison with traditional chemical method for production of dispersed Nano ironin batch reactor.

A study about open micro course resourcesplatform design

Micro course is a kind of new learning resources in recent years, and it has the characteristics of focus, practical and fast food. These characteristics meet the current fast pace of life, people just want to in the limited time learn useful knowledge for their needs. This study interprets the meaning of the class, analyzes the micro course resources platform features and functional requirements. And on this basis, the thesis focus on open platform design for micro course resource for three aspects: overall planning, function structure and application process.

Strategies for strengthening South Korea's position in mongolian mining sector

Despite its challenges and volatilities due to number of internal and external factors, Mongolian mining industry remains to be the most important driver for its economic development. Mineral products consistently comprise over 80% of Mongolia's total exports and efforts are being made to switch the raw commodity based exports to more value-added products and the role of foreign investments in the forms of capital, technology and expertise are crucial for this process.

Loose-fit polypseudorotaxanes constructed from γ-CDS and PHEMA-PPG-PEG-PPG-PHEMA

A pentablock copolymer was prepared via the atom transfer radical polymerization of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) initi-ated by 2-bromoisobutyryl end-capped PPO-PEO-PPO as a macroinitiator in DMF. Attaching PHEMA blocks altered the self-assembly process of the pentablock copolymer with γ-CDs in aqueous solution. Before attaching the PHEMA, the macroinitiator was preferentially bent to pass through the inner cavity of γ-CDs to give rise to tight-fit double-chain stranded polypseudorotax-anes (PPRs).

Fighting rural poverty: understanding livelihood diversification strategies and patterns of women in northern region of Ghana

Rural poverty remains a challenge among developing countries including Ghana. Livelihood diversification has been employed as one of the strategies to mitigate the teething poverty in Northern Ghana. Although lauded as a potential source of poverty eradication, limited studies have been conducted to understand the livelihood diversification strategies of poor and vulnerable women in Northern Ghana. This present paper identified and discussed the livelihood diversification strategies of women in Northern Ghana.
