As the name indicates Pandu means “Pandustu pitbhagardhah ketaki dhulisannibah’’ That means paleness is compared to pollen grains of Ketaki flower. Pallor is the paleness of skin and mucous membranes either as a result of diminished circulatory red blood cells or diminished blood supply. The word Pandu signifies all those diseases in which body colour becomes pale. In Pandu Roga deficiency of blood is the main symptom. Nowadays anaemia can be correlated with Pandu Roga.

Hodiernamente, o estilo de vida moderno da sociedade demonstra uma certa negligência sobre a realização de atividades físicas, visto o cotidiano acelerado com uma alta taxa de carga-horárias de trabalho e muito tempo utilizando telas como forma de relaxamento nas horas vagas, não sobrando tempo para exercícios físicos. Em suma, o presente estudo tem como objetivo principal analisar as literaturas acerca da relação entre o sedentarismo e cardiopatias.

Colchicine is a phytochemical extracted commercially from two plants of the Colchicaceae family, Gloriosa superba (flame lily) and Colchicum autumnale (autumn crocus). One of the seven upavishas (semi-poisonous drugs) in Indian medicine, colchicine is claimed to treat a number of illnesses but can be lethal if administered improperly. Colchicine dosages greater than 10 mg in humans are always fatal within three days.

Waffles are convenient ready to eat foods made from leavened batter or dough that is cooked between two hot plates and is patterned to give a characteristic size, shape and surface impression. Utilisation of millets is restricted due to non-availability of processed foods in ready to eat form. Millets can be effectively utilised for developing value added products which can improve the overall diet quality. Hence, the present study was carried out to formulate nutritionally superior waffles with finger millet.
