One of the determinant factors contributing to the professional development of teachers is the school manager, since the school managers' administration manner determines the speed and capacity of development. With this study, the managerial approaches adopted at schools and their effects on teachers' professional development are aimed to be found out.
The aim of this work on cluster analysis is to provide a methodology to analyse and assess the quality of a selected partition (the best partition according to several validation indexes). In the proposed approach, the evaluation of the stability and of the consistency of the results of the selected partition (original partition) was done using the comparison between this partition and each of the partitions (with the same number of clusters that the original one) obtained by resampling.
Women Entrepreneur is a person who accepts challenging role to meet her personal needs and become economically independent. The state of Kerala is the industrially developing area in which some of the entrepreneurs excel in small scale industry. Even though the government organizes women by various associations, they are not ready to undertake the business. As compared to men, women are less motivated to start business units due to some unwanted fear and lack of motivation.
Six accessions of Amaranthussp procured from National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR), New Delhi. Among the six accessions, IC 95609 was highly susceptible to root rot and stem decay disease which causes loss in productivity. Root rot and stem decay disease caused by Fusariumsolani which affects different agro-morphological traits of the crop plant. Amaranthus is a leaf vegetable.
This paper discusses about the contribution of head teacher as instructional leaders to reduce educational losses including dropout and repetition rate and promoting students learning competency in secondary education. I discussed available literature, state my best experiences during my teaching career and field experiences of research works while preparing this paper.
This study aimed to find out the level of the tasks assigned to the teachers of the first three grades of the primary school in Bani Kinana Directorate of Education from their perspectives, the study sample consisted of (253) male and female teachers for the academic year 2014/2015, where the study tool, which consisted of four fields (tasks related to the curriculum, tasks related to the school management, tasks related to the parents of the students, and tasks related to the students), was applied after its validity and reliability been confirmed.
Salinity is the most damaging factor towards crop production. Observing the possible role of thiourea in salinity tolerance, experiments were carried out using optimized thiourea level (400 µM) at which two maize hybrids may show improved growth and physiological attributes in autumn and spring seasons.
Strategies of managing and controlling devastating bacterial wilt of tomato are investigated by fitting binary logistic models to data consisting of dummy response variable of its incidents on reported cases to the plant clinics. Binary logistic methods are used for fitting such models to data describing the distribution and incidents of bacterial wilt (BW) caused by Ralstonia solanacearum on tomato crop. The approach overcomes some of the difficulties encountered when fitting ordinary least square regression to a dummy response variable.
One major concern of Fela’s Afrobeat music is to authenticate, entrench and amplify the collective dream of Nigerian people. The thrust of Afrobeat manifests in glaring confrontational and militant lyrics and tones of the songs. It is obvious that various indigenous governments in Africa have betrayed their fellow kinsmen at the turn of independence. As a result, there exists an immeasurable gap between the rulers and the ruled. More so, the rulers have continued to oppress the ruled.
A fatty acid was isolated and purified from pear fruit (Pyrus pyrifolia) peel extract by using column chromatography technique and evaluated its antioxidant activity by 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical-scavenging assay and reducing power assay. The isolated compound was identified as Gadoleic acid on the basis of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and it showed the high percentage of antioxidant activity but less than the ascorbic acid. As the concentration of the compound increased the percentage of activity also increased in both the DPPH assay and reducing power assay.
