Introduction: Malaria in children under the age of five is a major public health problem in the DRC. Long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) have been advocated as an effective tool against malaria transmission. However, the success of this intervention depends largely on knowledge of correct use and practices regarding malaria and its prevention. Few studies have been carried out on knowledge of the correct use of LLINs and practices regarding the correct use of LLINs in relation to malaria morbidity in children under 5 years of age.

Fatores associados ao estado nutricional de pessoas idosas brasileiras hipertensas

A pesquisa objetivou analisar os fatores associados ao estado nutricional de pessoas idosas hipertensas brasileiras. Foi realizado um estudo transversal com elementos da Pesquisa Nacional de Saúde (2019). A amostra correspondeu a 12.428 indivíduos. O estado nutricional foi a variável dependente e as independentes corresponderam as caracteristícas socioeconômicas, demográficas, clínicas e estilo de vida. As análises de associação foram realizadas através do teste de Rao-Scott, as medidas de efeito por regressão logística multinomial e a análise múltipla por regressão hierarquizado.

The paper examines the impact of decentralized governance in improving the quality of rural lives and reducing poverty. The study finds that PRIs are not given enough power and resources in accordance with the constitutional spirit of Decentralized Governance.

This study consists of identifying the level of appropriation and determining the relationship between the appropriation of LLINs and malaria morbidity in households with children under 5 years of age in the fragile Karisimbi health zone in Goma in Nord Kivu/ RDC.

Comparative study between the Widal/Felix test and stool culture in the diagnosis of salmonellosis: Case of the urban commune of dalaba (Republic of Guinea)

Introduction: In human pathology, salmonellosis includes two main types of illness: gastroenteritis and typhoid and paratyphoid fever. Objective: Contribute to improving the health care of patients suffering from typhoid fever. Methods: This is a comparative, prospective and descriptive study of a cross-sectional type which was carried out over a period of three months, going from April 2 to July 2, 2023. Results: From 230 patients received at the laboratory, samples of 5 patients revealed positive antigen reactions (TO+/TH+), i.e.
