As malformações anatômicas faciais mais comuns são as fissuras labiais e/ou palatinas, caracterizadas por fusão incompleta de processos maxilares e palatinos. A realização de um pré natal completo é importante para prevenir e diagnosticar precocemente essas malformações. O objetivo da pesquisa é analisar na literatura a ocorrência e repercussões clínicas de lesões por pressão em pacientes hospitalizados. Trata-se de um estudo do tipo revisão integrativa da literatura. O levantamento dos dados ocorreu na LILACS, BDENF, SCIELO e MEDLINE. A amostra final foi composta por 32 artigos. Em análise da prevalência de LPP em nível de mundo, o Brasil apresentou resultados significativos com total de 69%.
