A lombalgia é considerada um problema de sáude pública, de origem multifatorial, que pode ser influenciada por aspectos biopsicossociais, laborais e organizacionais, podendo ocasionar prejuízos na qualidade de vida em geral das pessas acometidas. Este estudo tem o objetivo de identificar a prevalência da LI em docentes universitários do centro-oeste brasileiro, em período da pandemia pela Covid-19, e listar os seus principais preditores. Foi realizado o estudo com 220 docentes universitários de duas universidades do centro-oeste brasileiro, no estado de Goiás.

Objetivos: Delinear um perfil epidemiológico com relação ao número de suicídios e tentativas de suicídio que ocorrem no estado de Alagoas. As análises têm por objetivo identificar a população alvo, incluindo variáveis sociodemográficas, nas quais é possível observar um maior número de acontecimentos desse tipo. Métodos: Os dados foram extraídos do Sistema de Informações de Agravos de Notificação, através do DATASUS, no período de 2011 a 2021.

The maxillary sinuses are pneumatic pyramidal cavities that can extend to the alveolar process, creating an intimate relationship between the root apex of the upper posterior teeth and its floor; therefore, in tooth extraction procedures, care must be taken not to generate a communication between the maxillary sinus and the intraoral environment, making it a route of infection. This work aims to show the dental community a form of treatment for oroantral communication induced by residual root intrusion in the maxillary sinus.

The objective of the present study was to develop Controlled release tablets of Glipizide using different polymers. The tablets were prepared with different ratios of Eudragit RSPO, Sodium alginate and Sodium CMC by direct compression technique. The solubility study of the Glipizide was conducted to select a suitable dissolution media for in vitro drug release studies. FTIR study revealed no considerable changes in IR peak of Glipizide and Hence no interaction between drug and the excipients. In vitro release from the formulation F5 was found to be 99.31 %.

By taking up employment, women have to play a dual role: housewife and career women. Their adjustment to social changes is associated with a high balance between satisfaction and tensions. Shortage and the rapid turnaround of women nurses are upsetting the Indian healthcare sector and quality of services provided. The importance of role overload as an economic, as well as social issue in the workplace is significant. Factors identified can be used for the strategic planning of recruitment, motivating, maintaining, and cultivating human resource capital within the healthcare sector.

A sepse é caracterizada por disfunção orgânica decorrente da resposta desregulada à infecção, e cuja investigação, diagnóstico e tratamento oportunos são tempo dependentes para o prognóstico satisfatório. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar a importância das medidas precoces necessárias para condução dos casos de sepse no paciente hospitalizado. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, exploratória e com abordagem qualitativa. A pesquisa foi realizada no período de fevereiro de 2023.

In the dissection hall while doing routine cadaveric dissection as part of learning human anatomy in a medical college authors noted variations in both sided brachial plexus .On the right side a single cord of brachial plexus was present in a cadaver branching into all nerves to the upper extremity. This cord was related to second part of axillary artery above it. In the left axilla middle trunk was absent, medial cord was absent. Median and ulnar nerve were originating from the posterior cord passing deep to 3rd part of axillary artery.

The teaching-learning process and its concepts and practices are in continuous transformation. Innovative practices, as the active methodologies and interdisciplinarity, are challenges for professors, students, and institutions. This study aimed to identify teaching methodologies, techniques, resources and interdisciplinarity adopted by professors in a public higher education institution in Paraná, Brazil. A sample of 231 valid questionnaires was obtained. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and comparisons with parametric and non-parametric tests.

Este artigo é resultado da experiência de um projeto integrador (projeto de extensão) que teve como objetivo promover a empatia e melhorar o repertório desta habilidade em acadêmicos de fisioterapia do Centro Universitário UNIAMÉRICA. Método: Este artigo é de caráter descritivo, de natureza qualitativa e quantitativa, tendo como mostra 9 acadêmicos do curso de fisioterapia. Para seleção da mostra foi realizado uma pesquisa de demanda, entrevista com a coordenadora do curso de Fisioterapia e para levantamentos dos dados foi aplicado o Inventário de Habilidades Sociais (IHS-2).

The present work has as its theme the beliefs in beauty as a possibility to reach the encounter and the realization of the meaning of life. To this end, it establishes a dialogue between constructs arising from social cognition and logotherapy in interface with the Thomist Philosophy. The contact points of the constructs were listed through a literature review. Understanding the evaluative richness present in the ideal of beauty, it was concluded that the beliefs in this ideal represent an important way to find meaning through contemplation and creation.
