Brazil has prostate cancer as the second leading cause of death in men, overcome by illnesses cardiovascular. There is at the world 10 million people with cancer, and there will be 16 million people with cancer in the year 2021. This study aimed to meet o profile epidemiological and level in knowledge about o cancer in prostate in men in the community in Redemption, at the County in Victory in Holy Anthony - PE. This is a study developed by a household survey with a sample carried out with 153 interviewees residing in the area attached to the UBS of Redemption.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept that has attracted worldwide attention and acquired a new resonance in the global economy. The aim of this study has been to evaluate the effectiveness of the Corporate Social Responsibility of petroleum companies that are engaged in the extraction of minerals in Bamusso Sub-Division. To realize this goal, participant observation, in-depth interviews, and semi-structured questionnaires were used as instruments to collect data, prior to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the data.

This study sought to diagnose the competencies for industry 4.0 in the teams of employees of micro and small companies in the metropolitan region of Recife and in the Sertão of the state of Pernambuco, located in the Northeast region of Brazil. To this end, survey-type research was carried out, using a structured questionnaire, applied to 337 employees of micro and small companies.

Introdução: No Brasil, estima-se que 15,6% da população do país resida em áreas rurais devido ao êxodo rural motivado por fatores relacionados a condições de trabalho, falta de desenvolvimento em diversos setores e pouca divulgação das políticas públicas para essa população. Objetivo: Investigar a associação entre a qualidade de vida (QV) e variáveis socioeconômicas, demográficas e ocupacionais de trabalhadores residentes em área rural. Método: Estudo transversal, realizado em outubro de 2012. Participaram 242 trabalhadores de São Pedro do Jequitinhonha, MG.

Introduction: Ghost Cell Odontogenic Carcinoma is extremely rare, the etiology is unknown, and its diagnosis is only possible when the resected specimen is examined histologically. Radiographically, this Carcinoma is seen as a unicameral or multilocular radiolucent image without clear boundaries and is associated with varying degrees of bone destruction and infiltration into adjacent structures.

As pesquisas que envolvem o apoio social estão fortemente presentes na área da saúde por estabelecerem uma conexão com a prevenção e recuperação de doenças de cunho físico e emocionalNesse sentido, é válido o uso de instrumentos que se proponham avaliar o suporte social. Com isso, o presente estudo teve como objetivo descrever e caracterizar psicometricamente os instrumentos presentes na literatura que mensuram suporte social.Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, foram extraídos dados que pudessem descrever os instrumentos.

Precipitation is important in maintaining the environment and life of living beings. Through their studies and increasingly accurate forecasts, we can reduce the impacts related to floods, environmental disasters, and losses in the agricultural and tourism sectors. However, climate change has made the analysis of this variable difficult.

O objetivo primordial do artigo é investigar quais ações são projetadas diante dos resultados obtidos através das avaliações externas, com enfoque no SPAECE. Houve a intenção de perscrutar se/como o tratamento desses resultados se converte em metas de ação na rede municipal de ensino de Fortaleza, ou na implementação de políticas públicas.

Objetivo: analisar, a partir da obra cinematográfica, como instrumento metodológico, as implicações bioéticas que permeiam a saúde sexual e reprodutiva de adolescentes quilombolas. Metodologia: possui abordagem exploratória, descritiva, qualitativa, do tipo investigação narrativa.

In this work, a polyester-based electrical insulator varnish modified with soy oil was used to obtain composites by the incorporation of organophilic vermiculite (VMT-org). The dispersion of the VMT-org in the polymeric matrix was performed using an ultrasonic processor. Composites were produced with inorganic particle contents of 1, 3 and 5% (by weight of resin). TGA results showed no significant change in the thermal degradation temperatures. However, the incorporation reduced the maximum rate of degradation.
