The Brazilian agricultural production exceeds the storage capacity, with that the construction of silo becomes essential, being the loads exerted by the product stored in the structure, the main factor for disasters in silos. In view of this, the present work aims to determine the pressures exerted by bean cultivars, according to EUROCODE 1.
A energia das ondas é um recurso pouco aproveitado, devido ao custo atual elevado de produção. Simulações realísticas do estado de mar são necessárias para avaliar a viabilidade e eficiência da instalação de dispositivos conversores da energia das ondas do mar em energia elétrica. Nesse contexto, o presente trabalho apresenta uma comparação da potência disponível em um conversor do tipo Coluna de Água Oscilante (CAO) quando submetido a ondas irregulares ou ondas regulares.
Theaim of this study was to trace and describe the epidemiological profile of patientsundergoing colonoscopy through an observational cross-sectional cohort study whichfocused on patients from a macro region comprised of 84 municipalities in the inland of the state of São Paulo from 2015 to 2019. Results from 610 patients undergoing colonoscopy at the Regional Hospital of Jundiaíwere used to develop a comparative analysis betweenexam requests and main endoscopic findings, including prevalent colorectal pathologies.
The objective was to verify the possibility of the production of tuberous roots of sweet potatoes in an aeroponic systemin order to use these roots as seeds. The research was developed at the State University of Ponta Grossa (PR – Brazil). There were performed four attempts for the developing ofone aeroponic system in a greenhouse, involving experiments with structures and nutrient solutions for seven sweet potatoes genotypes.
This study evaluated the microbiological and physico-chemical quality of moist and natural foods for dogs and cats sold in Brazil. Three lots of 12 samples were collected, 4 correspond to diets categorized as economic, 2 for each species, 6 as premium, 2 feline and 4 canine, and 2 diets as natural, 1 for each species. The most pet foods analyzed are in accordance with the physico-chemical parameters, except the results of neutral and acid detergent fibre and fat values. All categories of pet foods evaluated comply with the maximum limit defined for coliforms at 45ºC.
This paper presents an analysis of the contribution of the Entrepreneurial Education course offered by the Ativa Business Incubator of the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso – IFMT in Brazil. This work aimed to understand how entrepreneurial education of Ativa Business Incubator has helped business owners to overcome their vulnerabilities that were found in the diagnosis of the process considering their business in the Knowledge Society. The businesses that were analysed attended the incubation process in 2021. We used a qualitative methodology to develop this case study.
O queratocisto odontogênico é uma alteração patológica na cavidade íntra-óssea originária de resíduos da lâmina dental, possui caráter proliferativo lento e assintomático, dependendo do tamanho da lesão. O diagnóstico do queratocisto é um achado radiográfico, baseada na característica histopatológica. A descompressão é uma técnica elementar no tratamento conservador e mostra alta taxa de sucesso na literatura. O presente estudo tem como objetivo relatar um tratamento de queratocisto em região anterior da maxila, visando uma menor morbidade, através de um relato de caso clínico.
Objetivo: Avaliar a ocorrência de alterações psiquiátricas em estudantes de enfermagem, indicando as alterações mais comuns. Metodologia: Estudo exploratório descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, realizado em Universidade privada na cidade de Caxias, Maranhão, Brasil. Amostra composta por 40 acadêmicos do 5º, 7º e 10º períodos do curso de Enfermagem, faixa etária entre 17 e 30 anos. A análise dos dados se deu no SPSS 2.0, consolidados por técnicas estatísticas descritivas. Pesquisa aprovada com CAAE nº 85931518.8.0000.8007, comprometendo-se com a Resolução 466/12.
Methylphenidate is widely used in the treatment of ADHD, however in recent years the number of cases of patients who use it inappropriately has increased. Given this scenario, the main goal of this study is to review the misuse of methylphenidate by university students for cognitive enhancement. Thus, an integrative literature review was carried out using two databases (PubMed and Science Direct), including all articles published between 2011 and 2021, written in English or Portuguese.
Face shield is an equipment required for healthcare professionals to decrease the risk of contamination during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fused deposition modeling (FDM) is the most applied process of additive manufacturing due to its usability and low-cost, the injection molding (IM) is the fastest process for mass industrial production. In this study a qualitative comparison of these processes was performed for mass-production and distribution of face shields.
