Volumetric expansions of accelerating unstable cosmological models with a quadratic form of equation of state

In this paper, we derive the field equations towards f (R) gravity (where is the Ricci scalar) with the help of a locally rotationally symmetric spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-I space-time, in the presence of perfect fluid with Quadratic form of Equation of State. Here we obtained the solutions of the field equations using volumetric power and exponential law of expansion, under some specific plausible physical conditions. The stability factor of the model is initially positive which satisfy that the velocity of sound should be less than the velocity of light i.e.

Influence of tebuthiuron and vinasse under soil microbiota activity in sugarcane crop

Tebuthiuron is an herbicide used in sugarcane crops and can cause great environmental impact due to its high persistence and toxicity in soil. Thus, an organic compound addition influences the environmental behavior of this molecule and could increase its sorption and degradation. Vinasse is used in fertigation and this research aimed to evaluate microbial metabolism in soil cultivated with sugarcane with tebuthiuron and vinasse applications.

Correlation between depression levels of urban rural and slum adolescent girls and boys with their selected variables

Irrespective of their gender and area of residence the depression level of the adolescent girls and boys were found to have significant negative correlation family socio-economic status, normalcy of children, age, education and occupation of parents, health status, academic achievements, social status of family, relations with parents, siblings and peers, physical appearance, body built, adopted patenting practices, special place in family and dietary pattern with their depression levels.

Technological use of kiwi (cv. hayward) shell for elaboration of cookie-type biscuits

The objective of this work was to elaborate cookie-type biscuits with the addition of kiwi shell flour (KPF), to characterize and evaluate the effect of the addition of kiwi bark flour on the physical-chemical characteristics, texture profile, physical properties and microbiological quality. Fresh and dehydrated kiwi shells (35 °C/72h) were physicochemically characterized.

Prevalence by age group, seasonality and clinical manifestations in hospitalized children with respiratory infection in a hospital in recife

Introduction: Respiratory conditions may be upper or lower, and in many cases, it is associated with an infection. The most affected age group is between 0 and 9 years old, with the highest rates among those younger than 1 year, due to the immaturity of their immune system. Studies have shown correlation of these conditions with rainy periods, such as winter, which represents the season with the highest incidence. Among the symptoms, fever, cough and dyspnea are seen in most cases.

Intergenerationality: bringing together the elderly and the young

This research aimed to understand the ways in which the relationships between elderly and young adults of the same family occur, from their own perspectives, using the focal group as a source of expression. Specifically, it was intended: 1) Describe the characteristics of the intergenerational relationship between the elderly and young adults; 2) Propose possibilities of interventions that facilitate this relationship. This is a qualitative cross-sectional study with a sample for convenience.

Patient Characteristics of untreated chronic central serous chorioretinopathy patients with focal versus diffuse leakage

The authors are commenting on the article entitled “Patient characteristics of untreated chronic central serous chorioretinopathy patients with focal versus diffuse leakage” published by van Rijssen et al. in Graefes Archive Clin Exp Ophthalmol 2019; 257(7):1419-1425.

Research of sodium content in dietary and normal foods marketed in Brazilian semi-arid

Behavior in relation to food consumption has undergone significant change in recent years. The population with chronic disease that has a restriction in food consumption suffers problems both when it is found, the price and the high sodium intake. Thus the objective of this work was to investigate the levels of sodium in dietary soft drinks marketed in a city in the semi-arid state of Piauí. A statistically significant difference was observed in the amount of sodium in diet foods when compared to normal foods p <0.05.

Provision of antenatal care services and level of utilization at migosi sub-county hospital, Western Kenya

Effective utilization of ANC services presents an opportunity to revert maternal deaths of 7,700 and 150,000 women each year from perinatal outcomes and other birth complications in Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa respectively. For effective utilization of ANC services, there is a need to assess the supply and demand of services. To assess this, a descriptive cross-sectional study design was adopted on 285 post-natal mothers at Migosi sub-County Hospital in Kisumu County, Kenya. Purposive sampling technique was used and data was collected using structured questionnaires.

Current panorama of the theory of travelbee: an integrative review

The objective of this study was to systematize scientific production about the current literature panorama based on Joyce Travelbee Theory. An integrative review based on the databases of the Virtual Health Library (VHL), the Portal of Periodicals CAPES and EBSCO-HOST. The descriptors were: "Psychiatric Nursing" AND "Nurses-Patient Relationship" AND "Nursing Theory". Publications were included in English, Spanish and Portuguese and were available electronically in full. Letters to the editor and those published outside the period 2012-2017 were excluded.
