A model of fish marketing at paotere fishing ports for increasing fishermen’s income

The marketing of fish harvest on demand and supply, does not make a significant difference of fishermen income. Marketing model of fish harvest becomes very important for increasing fishermen income. The research conducted on June to December, 2016. Data collection techniques include; Interviews and literature study. Respondents were determined based on purposive sampling method. The method of analysis used is Structural Ecuation Modeling (SEM).

Sustainable environmental development strategies in construction and manufacturing

Having a healthy and clean environment is of crucial importance to everyone. The industrial sectors are concerned with improving the social, economic and environmental indicators of sustainability. One of the most important problems today is the concerns resulting from the effects of contamination of natural resources and its transference to the human and environment. The objective of this study is to introduce solutions to combat environmental issues and develop a healthy and sustainable environment. The method was documentary research as a literature review.

Application of therotechnology in electronic embroidery machine (case study embroidery machines and laser)

In this article is discussed the application of a technique called terotecnologia, seeking the combination of management economics management with technology, highlighting the importance of life-cycle cost of the equipment. The main objective of terotecnologia is the search for alternative techniques, reliability studies and technical evaluations for-economic life cycles of equipment becoming less expensive.

Quality improvement of an iron ore jasper by selective milling

One of the most important factors during the process of comminution of minerals is their power consumption rate, which is determined by calculating the WI (work index), which in short is to analyze the amount of kWh consumed per ton of material, to reach a certain particle size and achieve the desired. Along with the quality of the ore is defined and use the classification of the ore. Ores of jaspelite type, high hardness, and with lower iron content 60% with silica content above 10.5%, tends to be considered economically unsuitable for merger cases in the Brazilian market.

Seasonal assessment of groundwater quality in terms of heavy metal contamination in Sukinda mining region of Jajpur District, Odisha

The present study deals with the assessment of heavy metal contamination of groundwater in and around Sukinda region, Odisha, which is rich in chromium, iron and nickel deposits.Mining and industrial effluents arising in this region is due to unrestrained mines, associated industries. Over burden and waste dumps are major factors for heavy metal contamination in groundwater.

Exergy of direct solar radiation

The article provides an exergy analysis of the concentration of solar radiation. For the first time, the flux of solar radiation is characterized by its own temperature (radiation), and its exergy is determined within the framework of the canonical Carnot cycle. Based on a new treatment of the temperature of the radiant heat flux, an analytical expression is obtained for the radiation temperature of the solar radiation flux, both for direct solar radiation and for diffuse radiation. The dependence of the density of direct solar radiation on the "mass of the atmosphere" is found.

Diversity of soil algae in the farmlands of khasi hills, Meghalaya

The present paper deals with the structure of soil algal community in four farmlands located in Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. The chosen farmlands were corn field (Zea mays L.), rice field (Oryzasativa Linn.), vegetable farm (Solanumtuberosum L., Lactucasativa L. and Brassica oleracea var. capitata f. alba) and citrus plantation (Citrusreticulata Blanco.). A total of 158 algal taxa have been identified, out of which Chlorophyta+Xanthophyceae members (64 taxa) form the major group, followed by Bacillariophyceae (62 taxa) and Cyanobacteria (32 taxa).

Improving the quality of meat products through gamma irradiation

The aim of the current study is to determine the effect upon experimental meat product samples (flat sausage) prepared with start bacterial cultures, sterilized through irradiation under their biological effectiveness. The experimental types of meat were divided into 3 groups: flat sausage with Megacarn starters, flat sausage with Lactina starters and flat sausage without starters. These groups have been irradiated with 4kGy gamma rays. Biological experiment with white male mice weighted 20 - 30 g, took place.
