The Water Safety Plan is a tool used to identify, assess and manage health risks related to any water supply system. In order to do so, a study was carried out in a supply system, located in the northeast of Brazil, composed by Fountain Caldas (P1) and Well Cipó (P2), as sources of raw water abstraction, and by the Distribution Reservoir (P3) treated. Water collection, land use and land use assessment and analysis of possible risks were carried out in the vicinity of these three points and in another site (P4) to obtain the treated water.

An effective professional development program can have a profound impact on how higher education faculties teach and what their students learn. Building on survey responses by faculty at eighteen colleges and universities that have participated in professional development activities, a faculty development model that includes fourteen characteristics that are organized into four quadrants was created to assist instructors and administrators in higher education institutions to develop programs that aim to meet the teaching and learning needs of the faculty.

The field of machine learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI) is rapidly evolving today and slowly beginning to reshape the mining sector. With the mining machinery becoming larger and equipment more sophisticated, the sector can gain immensely from these advanced technologies in terms of operational efficiency and ramping down costs. ML/AI is a field of computer study that deals with the creation of intelligent machines that work and reacts like humans.

Differential equation is one of the major areas in mathematics with series of method and solutions. We have analytic method and numerical methods; analytic method is only applicable to a class of equations, so most of the times numerical methods are used. Most of the researches on numerical approach to the solution of first order ordinary differential equation tend to adopt methods such as Runge Kutta method, Taylor series method and Euler’s method; but none of the study has actually combined the newt on’s interpolation and Lagrange method to solve first order differential equation.

Manganese ore coming from Corumbá, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil was investigated to ascertain its mineral composition. Chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction along with energy dispersive analysis allowed establishing that the mineral is a mixture of Mn2+Mn3+2 and Mn4+O2 oxides, hausmannite and pyrolusite which are present as major and minor phases respectively. It is assumed that the mineral also contains neotocite, a manganese-iron silicate (Mn+20.75, Fe2+0.25) SiO3 H2O that is present in the amorphous state and cannot be detected by X-ray technique.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the anthropometric, somatotypes and cardio respiratory fitness characteristics of Brazilian military. One hundred and ten healthy male soldiers of the Brazilian army, aged between 18 and 26 (mean 19) years took part in the research. They belonged to a Combat Engineering Battalion located in Midwest region, Brazil. It was shown that there was a noticeable presence of obese individuals in the group, seemingly leading to the impairment of their cardio respiratory fitness. Thus a rigorous body weight control is strongly recommended.

Nuclear power plants are among the different energies that a lot of countries are looking for as a future source of energy and most of these countries are developing countries who have no experiences in nuclear power plants technologies. On the other hand, it is important that high levels of nuclear safety are maintained in these new comer countries through all the process of these nuclear power plants. This calls for high caliber nuclear regulatory organization to be involved and participated in all nuclear regulatory activities as an active and competent partner.

Nearly 168 species of amphibians are believed to be extinct and at least 2,469 are known to be declining (Stuart, 2004). Currently, about 40 species of amphibians is reported from Bhutan (Wangyel, 2013), but the study determining its species diversity and the habitat use. This paper presents the state-of-the-knowledge on the species richness and distribution pattern of the amphibians of Bhutan. However, the study about amphibian is scanty in the country. Only 40 species of amphibians are so far reported from Bhutan of which of which 38 species are anurans, one caecilian and a Salamander.

This paper aims to compare the motor development of Indian and Iranian boy′s student between the age of 13 and 18 years in explosive leg power case. The focus is on the relationship between age and motor behavior which makes the study of motor development unique from other viewpoints. Motor development includes age related changes in both posture and movement, the two basic ingredient of motor behavior. The results portrayed by means of statistical tests and standard method of sampling.
